In Symmetry Vintage Feel Hey Friend Greeting Card - Creative Colour Challenges #CCC6

 Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend - mine flew by in the blink of an eye I feel like I've managed to miss 24 hours somewhere!! haha

So, as it's a Monday we have a brand New Combo over on Creative Colour Challenges. This combo pulled me in several directions, so bringing a card together took me a bit of time. When I first saw these together I instantly thought of the In Symmetry Bundle and those retro 60's prints.

All the elements on my card have been sponged with Crumb Cake ink to really highlight that old, vintage feel. Here's what I made....

Vellum Card Stock

Very Vanilla Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

-------------------------------------------

Take the Crushed Curry card stock and fold along the score line creating your card base. Ink up the flower in Crushed Curry and stamp 2nd generation (stamped off once) all over the card  front.

Place the vellum into your symmetrical leaves border punch and create a border along the length. Keep the cut outs to one side and use the strip as a stencil. Using a sponge and Crumb Cake ink, add a row of these leaves to the top and bottom of the card base. Sponge the edges of the card base.

Ink up the circular flower in blushing Bride and cover the blushing bride card Stock with the image.

Ink up the leaves and stamp all over the Crumb Cake card with crumb cake ink.

Sponge the edges of both pieces with crumb cake and add to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment in crumb cake onto a scrap of Blushing Bride, sponges edges in crunb cake and add to the bottom right hand corner.

Stamp a selection of flowers and leaves in Blushing bride and crumb cake, fussy cut sponge with crumb cake. Also sponge the vellum leaves from earlier.

Stamp the large flower image in Crushed Curry twice, opposite each other to create a full flower head shape. Fussy cut and, you guessed it - sponge with crumb cake ink.

Add this to the card front with dimensionals and then arrange the smaller flowers and leaves behind.

Finally colour a larger rhinestone with a crumb cake blend and then place intk the centre of the large flower.

Here's a list of the supplies I used in today's card. Click on the images to head over to my online store. Product List
