Wood Textures Sweet Wishes Mini Preserve Gift Box

Hello everyone,

It's Tuesday, how did that happen - I had a three day weekend as well and It's gone in the fastest time.

Today I have this beautiful box for you... I created it to hold two mini preserve jars as a gift, but this is a great size to pop in a lot of different goodies.

Measurements:-

Very Vanilla Cardstock
1pc - 8 3/4" x 7"

Wood Textures Designer Series Paper
2pc - 1 5/8" x 1 5/8"
3pc - 1 5/8" x 3 3/8"

Place the Very Vanilla Cardstock into the simply scored, with the long side running across to top. Score at  1 3/4", 3 1/2", 5 1/4" & 7", then rotate the card 90 degrees and score along the short side at 1 3/4" & 5 1/4".

Fold and burnish all the score lines well. Bring in your snips and cut away sections so you are left with a shape as below:-

Add the three rectangular DSP panels to the three sections running from the left, and add the two square piece to the two square section on the right, just like this:-

Take a small punch and create a thumb notch as above. Add tear & tape to all the flaps that have been notched into and cut down slightly and the follow the arrows, the two flaps on the right hand side fold in to create the lid and the four remaining fold up and make the base.

Carefully wrap the crumb cake nature's twine around the box twice then tie in a bow over the top of the box.

Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of very vanilla using crumb cake ink - add banner tails to either side and sponge all the edges. Add this to the front of the box using dimensionals

Here's a  list of all the supplies I used today, click on the images to head over to my online store.

Large Blossom Pretty in Pink Thank You Card

Good Afternoon Everyone,

We have done all the decorating we can fit in & all the shopping I can be bothered to do, so it's a few hours in the craft room for me!!  This is for the Wednesday Challenge on Stampin for All . This week we were given a colour challenge! Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo & Powder Pink plus 1 colour of your choice, so I chose Granny Apple Green, and here's my card....

Measurements:

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"
Scraps for petals, leaves and sentiment

Melon Mambo Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Powder Pink Cardstock
1pc - 3 3/4" x 5 1/2"

Firstly, bring in your big shot and run the Powder Pink cardstock through in your Basket Weave embossing folder - remember that this is a dynamic folder so is considerably thick than the standard ones, which means you will need to adjust you 'sandwich'. Pop down you emboss folder straight onto your platform (NO cutting plate on the bottom) then add a cutting plate to the top them run through.

Create the card base by folding and burnishing the whisper white cardstock. Layer the melon mambo and the powder pink cardstock layers onto this.

On your scraps, stamp out some flowers and petals. The Bunch of Blossoms stamp set is a two step stamp set, so you get and outline image plus two infill images to create shading a depth. For my project today I used the outline in melon mambo and the most solid infill in flirty flamingo. I created 5 petals, then cut them out using the blossom builder punch.  Also create a little middle section using the same principle.

I also used granny apple green for the outline of the leaves, then stamped off ( this is where you stamp on some scrap paper to remove some of the ink before stamping onto your project) before using the solid infill. You will need to fussy cut these as there is no coordinating punch for these.

Whilst you have the Granny Apple Green to hand, stamp the sentiment, then cut out with the everyday label punch and sponge the edges.

Cut  circle with the 3/4" circle punch and arrange the petals around this and adhere together. I found using the circle easier to get my shape and spacing right for all the petals.

Add the flower to the card and then tuck the leaves to the left hand side, and on the right place the sentiment.

Here's a list of all the supplies I used in today's card, click on the images to head over to my online store

Thanks for taking a look again today, if you get a minute pop n over to Stampin for All and take a look at that amazing community and maybe even try a challenge for yourself.

See you Soon
