Fine Art Floral 2 1/4" cube gift box. Crafty Collaborations Share it Sunday February 2021

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

I have such a fab project to share with you today. Myself along with the Crafty Collaborations Crew are Blog Hopping to share with you a project we have been working on this week.

I've created a box and decorated it with the Fine Art Floral DSP. I decided to keep the decoration to a minimum to show off as much of the Paper as possible, because it is stunning. The box measures 2 1/4" all the way round so a great size to add all sorts of goodies in.

Measurements

Mango Melody Card Stock

1pc - 9 1/2" x 7 1/4"

Fine Art Floral DSP

5pc - 2 1/8" x 2 1/8"

Take the Mango Melody Cardstock and score as follows:-

Long Side - 2 1/4", 4 1/2", 6 3/4" & 9"

Short Side - 2 1/4", 4 1/2" & 6 3/4"

fold and burnish all the score lines. cut away at the card stock so that you are left with card stock like this:-

Now, take four panels of DSP and add along the centre squares. If your paper is directional these need to face the correct way up, then add the one on the lid, if directional this on needs to be UPSIDE DOWN as you look at it.

add a small thumb notch to the second square across from the right.

Run some seal+ along the small tab on the left hand side, then fold around and adhere to the opposite side. along the bottom, fold in the sides, back and then adhere down the front to create your base. Fold in the tabs at the top, then close the lid.

You could add a sentiment if you would like, but as I said earlier - I really didn't want to cover up any of the paper!!

Please continue to hop on through to get some inspiration from the other ladies who have taken part today.

One the remaining piece, take the lines stamp from the Pattern Play stamp set, and using a selection of colours from the subtles range, cover the whole piece of basic white.

Now take the bursts image and stamp all over the stripes in Memento ink.

Add this panel to the card front.

On the two smaller pieces of basic white, stamp the sentiments and layer up onto the card stock mats.

Hydrangea Hill Fancy Fold Card. Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop February 2021

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

I'm blog hopping today with the Ink Stamp Share ladies and the theme for this Hop is Fancy Folds - who doesn't love a good old Fancy Fold?

I decided to go for a Gate Fold Card today, it's very simple to create, but you can really go to town with the decoration and make something really special.

Measurements

Old Olive Card Stock

1pc - 11" x 6"

Mossy Meadow Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/4" x 3 3/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 3 1/4"

1pc - 5" x 5 1/2"

Hydrangea Hill DSP

1pc - 5 7/8" x 5 3/8"

2pc - 5 7/8" x 2 5/8"

scraps

Take the Old Olive Card stock and score on the long side at 2 3/4" and 8 1/4". Fold the card from the left hand side into the centre, and the right hand into the centre to create your gate, make sure you have the edges lined up perfectly and burnish well with a bone folder.

Add the largest piece basic white the the largest piece of DSP  and adhere to the inside of the card.

Then add the two strips of DSP to both of the 'doors' on the front of the card. I made sure I cut these pieces in a particular way that the pattern followed directly and correctly across both parts, I personally prefer this look, especially as this paper has a defined pattern but you really don't have to.

Take the remaining piece of Basic White DSP and stamp the sentiment from Beautiful Friendship into the centre in Gorgeous Grape ink.  take two lengths of the sheer ribbon and wrap around above and below this - secure the ends at the back.

Layer this piece onto the Mossy Meadow Cardstock. Pop dimensionals on the back of the, making sure you only cover half of the piece. Add this to the card front, making sure that the piece is central and only cover one of the front gate sections. If you do go over you may end up sticking your card closed!

Fussy cut two of the floral arrangements fro the DSP and add to opposite corners with dimensionals.

Finally add some of the Pastel Pearls to the opposite sides.

Please be sure to head over to Jo Blackman's blog and see what Fancy Fold they have created too....
