Beautiful Promenade Difficult Roads Card. Day 30 of #31dayscraftchallenge

Good Evening Everybody,

Sorry for the late post today, my nephew turned 5 today so we have been to his party tea  and I'll be honest, I have no idea where the time has gone since I got home.

I wanted to create a super quick but lovely card to give someone who is having  a rough old time of it at the minute. This card has been made with a handful of supplies, and is very simple so anyone, no matter what skill level you feel you are at, it's achievable

Take a piece of sahara sand cardstock that measures 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" and stamp the image in early espresso ink all around the edge.

Stamp the sentiment on whisper white, trim.down and then add to centre of the Sahara sand.

Place a silver metallic pearl into centre of each flower head.

Add this mat to a card base which is made from a 8" x 4" piece of whisper white, scored at 4".

Golden Honey Cherished Friend Thank You Easel Card. Day 29 of #31dayscraftchallenge

Good afternoon Everyone,

Well the snow didn't stay around too long yesterday... so everything returned to normal pretty quickly, in fact we had blue skies and fluffy clouds late afternoon.

Today I have this stunning Easel Card for you, decorated with the gorgeous Golden Honey Speciality DSP and what's even better is you can get the paper for FREE during Saleabration with qualifying orders.

Measurements

Lovely Lipstick Cardstock
1pc - 11" x 4"

Basic black cardstock
1pc - 3 3/4" x 5 1/4"
1pc - 3 3/4" x 2"
1pc - 3 3/4" x 3"
1pc - 2 1/8" x 7/8"
1pc - 2 3/8" x 2 5/8"

Golden Honey Speciality DSP
1pc - 5" x 3 1/2"
1pc - 3 1/2" x 1 3/4"
1pc - 3 1/2" x 2 3/4"
Fussy cut bees and flower.

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 2 1/2" x 3 3/4"
1pc - 3/4" x 2"
1pc - 2 1/2" x 2 1/4"

First of all layer all the pieces of golden Honey DSP onto the coordinating sized basic black cardstock mat.

Next stamp the smaller sentiment onto the smallest piece of whisper white. Layer this onto the basic black cardstock mat and add to the smallest DSP layered piece.

Now, stamp the larger sentiment on the smallest of the remaining pieces of whisper white towards the top. Layer this onto the basic black cardstock mat and add to the centre of the largest panel of Golden honey DSP. Add thw fussy cut bees with dimensionals, and the flower with a bit of snail.

Take the Lovely Lipstick Cardstock and score at 2 3/4" & 5 1/2". Fold the card in half along the 5 1/2", then open up the card and fold front the left towards the centre on the 2 3/4" score line and make sure you burnish both folds well. You will end up with a shape like this...

Hold the card in a portrait manner and add the two smaller panels, add the larger one with snail, then the smaller one with dimensionals. Stack two dimensionals on top of each other to give some height. This will hold the card in it's easel shape. Make sure you don't go too far up with them on the top edge, as the top panel will need a little room to sit.

Next, close the card up and add the whisper white panel to the top section by the main fold line.

Finally, add the largest panel to the bottom section of the card, making sure you only add adhesive to the bottom half of the panel. Otherwise you will stick the card together and it won't stand up well.

Follow Your Art Thank You Card.Day 28 of #31dayscraftchallenge

Good Evening Everybody,

Hope you are all well. Today's been a busy day, and we had about 2hours of snow which made my plans change around as I didn't fancy heading out in that! I would have been soaked to the bone. Lol

My card for today is super quick and simple, depending on the great follow your art DSP to do the work.  Sometimes you dont want to givea floral or a girlie card, so this is perfect for that need.

Measurements

Basic black cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Follow Your Art DSP
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Scraps of Pacific Point, Coastal Cabana, Blushing Bride and whisper white.

Create your card base by folding the basic black cardstock along the score line and add the whisper white panel to the inside of the card and the Follow your Art DSP to the front.

Using your die cutting machine and the squares from stitched shape dies. Cut one of each of the squares, largest in Pacific Point, next one down in coastal cabana, then blushing bride for the next and finally a.whisper white one for the  smallest. Stamp the sentiment into to centre of the whisper white square turned ro ve a diamond, then layer all the squares together keeping the points at the bottom close together.  Add this to the centre of the cars.

Finally pop a couple of gold metallic pearls on the sentiment.

Cute Garden Lane Friend Fold Flat Gift Box.Day 27 of #31dayscraftchallenge

Happy Monday Everyone,

Hope you had a smashing weekend and are ready to take on a new week.

We are on our last week of #31dayscraftchallenge and today, I have this cute little box for you. It measures a tiny 2 1/4"x 1 1/2"x 1". I designed this as I bought a small keyring for a friend and thought it needed a pretty box to be gifted in.

Measurements

Pear Pizzazz Cardstock
1pc - 5 1/2" x 5 3/4"

Garden Lane Designer Series Paper
2pc - 2" x 1 1/4"
2pc - 2" x 3/4"
2pc - 1 1/4" x 3/4"

Take the pear pizzazz and using your Simply Scored, score as follows...
Long side - 3/4", 1 3/4", 4" & 5"
Short side - 1/2", 1 1/2", 3" & 4".

Fold and burnish all the score lines well and then cut away at the card stock so you are left with a shape like this...

Now, sponge the cardstock with early espresso ink, be gently though as it can be a bit dark so sponge with a light hand. Make sure you sponge all along the score lines.

Now, sponge all the edges of the DSP and add to the cardstock like so....

Take the 1" circle punch and on the right hand panel add a small thumb notch.

Add tear and tape to the tab on the left hand side and fold round and adhere to the opposite side. Fold in the sides and the tabs and both the bottom and the top.

Hold the box so that the thumb notch is to the back of the box, and add a tiny amount on adhesive to the centre. Swirl over the silver metallic thread and press into the adhesive to hold down.

Run the smallest of the stitched nested shape dies through your die cutting machine with whisper white. Stamp the sentiment from A Big Thank You in Pear Pizzazz and sponge the edges with early espresso. Add this to the front of the box, over the silver thread.

Whisper White Cardstock

Create your card base by folding the basic balck along the score line and add one of the whisper white pieces to the inside.
