Creative Colour Challenges - #CCC245

 Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you are well. Welcome to the next Creative Colour Challenge.

I love playing around with colour combinations and I'm always up for a challenge with varied and different combinations.

What do you think?

I would love to see how you create using these three colours. Feel free to make a project and add it to the list below. You can add your blog details if you wish, or just add an image - it's entirely up to you.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

So, what is this? I hear you ask?

Well, a while I did a card with a slightly wild colour combo and everyone seemed to love it, so I thought that I would set up a regular challenge blog, so I can share some of my colour combos with you, and in turn we can all get some fabulous inspiration. Some will be more difficult than others, but I will be entering a project myself each week so you can see one idea of how the colours go together.

How does it work?

Every Monday at 10am (GMT) I will add a brand new colour combo for that week.

You will have until Sunday at 8pm (GMT) to submit entries via an Inlinkz form. You can link this back to your blog if you have one, or just submit a picture if not.

I will announce a winner that evening and then a new challenge starts on Monday Morning.

Don't forget to click follow over on the right!!

See you soon

Garden Gatherings Clean & Simple Happy Birthday Cards. The Project Share Blog Hop - June 2026

 Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Saturday! Today I'm taking part in the Project Share Blog Hop and our theme in New Catalogue.

I've used two of our beautiful new in colours and the Garden Gatherings bundle to create some super quick and easy, clean and simple cards.

What do you think?

Measurements

Golden Glow Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

scrap

Crisp Cantaloupe Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

scrap

IN Colour DSP

Golden Glow

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

Crisp Cantaloupe

1pc - 3/8" x 5 5/8"

Basic White

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

2pc - 3" x 5 3/4"

-----------------------------------------------

Take the Coloured card stock pieces and fold along the score line to create your card bases, adding one of the larger pieces of Basic White to the inside of each card. Place the coordinating DSP piece onto each card front.

Ink up the outline vase image in memento black ink and stamp onto the scraps of coloured card - one of each colour. Fussy cut or use the coordinating dies to cut out.

Lay the smaller pieces of Basic White in front of you and stamp the stems images and the flowers just below centre in black ink. I stamped the stems first and then did the flowers - there's two dots, which are the flower centres, which help you line this up super quick!

Also, add the sentiment across the top.

Add these to each card front, then add the vases with dimensionals.

Finally, add a small pearl to the centre of the open flowers.

Told you it was super simple and quick to create! This design is just perfect for batch making and would be awesome in so many colourways - and of course a variety of occasions.

Please take a few minutes to continue through the hop. Click on the button below to head over to Verity's blog.

Fluttering By to Say Hi All Aflutter Card. Touches of Ink Blog Hop - June 2026

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in the Touches of Ink blog hop. Each month we hop without a set theme, just the encouragement to stick within a Suite or a Bundle.

Now, we have just had a new catalogue launch last month and I've not yet got many things to play with - I know, I really need to change that. So I have used the All Aflutter bundle and some of our brand new in colour DSP in Hydrangea Hue & Peaceful Pine.

I decided to keep it super simple and I love the results, what do you think?

Measurements

Hydrangea Hue Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

scrap

Peaceful Pine Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

scrap

IN Colour DSP

Hydrangea Hue

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

Peaceful Pine

1pc - 3/8" x 5 5/8"

Basic White

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

2pc - 3" x 5 3/4"

scraps

-------------------------------

Take the larger pieces of card stock and fold along the score line to create your card bases, adding a one of the larger pieces of Basic White card stock to the inside of each.

Using your All Aflutter punch cut out three butterflies in each piece of the DSP. Tip - Align the punch along the left hand side and push it in as far as it can go before you cut - this means you can still use the larger piece as a mat layer.

Add the DSP pieces to the card front, making sure the cut section is towards the left.

Then add the smaller pieces of Basic White to the centre of the card front - leaving an even border all the way round. You will see a tiny little bit of the cut area below but just trust the process - we hide that later!

On a scrap of the colour card stock stamp the sentiment, trim and angle the right hand side. Put some dimensionals on the back and add to the card front - position it in line with the DSP and over the cut section.

Now stamp the butterfly cluster in Memento ink onto some scraps of basic white then cut using the punch. I then used my scissors to cut away the white border. Pull up the wings gently, add a line of glue and then lay on top of the of DSP butterflies. Then arrange these onto the card front.

I hope you like my project to day - I really enjoyed creating these cards.

Please take a few moments to continue through the hop and check out what all these other talented ladies have created. Simone is up next, please go say hello!
