Petal Garden Happy Birthday Card using Stampin Up Products

Hello Everyone,

So I have an admission - I have had this paper stack for some time now, but I haven't really used it! I know its shocking because it's absolutely beautiful.

I wanted to keep this card super simple to show off this gorgeous paper. I made the card base from rich razzleberry which I picked out from the small leaves in the print. Fussy cutting a flower and a leaf from the DSP really helped give this card dimension. The white heat embossed sentiment helps it really stand out on the darker cardstock.

Now, I do have a few dies and punches which create great banner shapes but I decided to create this shape, which I really love.

Taking a piece of card measuring 1 inch wide and feed into the pretty label punch as below and punch like normal.

This creates a great finishing edge for my sentiment which ends up looking like this.

I hope you enjoyed todays card and my little tip to use your punch in a slightly different way.

Petal Palette Sorry you aren't feeling well card using Stampin Up Products

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you are all well and have some exciting things planned for the Easter weekend. I am hoping to spend a considerable amount of time in my craft room over the four day break so keep your eyes peeled for some fab projects coming up.

Today's card was made for a relative who isn't feeling too well at the minute.

Now I know that I always seem to go on about how I like quick and easy cards, and this one isn't any different. They beauty of Stampin Up is it's coordination of the products. They really do work hard to make products that work well together and help you create stunning cards with relative ease.

Here I am using mainly the Petal Passion suite from the Spring/Summer catalogue and everything works so well together. I stamped and coloured in the flowers and bird images and then using the coordinating thinlits cut them using my big shot. The sentiment is from the Sorry for Everything stamp set and heat embossing the large sorry works amazingly to add a little shine and interested.

I hope you liked the card today, here's a list of everything I used - if you would like to purchase anything - click on the products and that will take you straight to my online store.

The Petal Palette stamp set and thinlits are available as a bundle - saving you 10%, and until tomorrow we still have the Sale-a-bration offers running so don't forget to check that out before it ends.

Thanks for stopping by.

See you Soon

Berry Burst Birthday Birthday Card using Stampin Up products

Good Morning Everyone,

This week has been another busy one so sorry I have been a bit quiet.  I have had a lot on but now I'm all yours. I reorganised my craft room this week and I noticed I have a huge pile of scraps so I set out to create a load of projects to thing this out.

Here's my card for today, mainly made from scraps of beautiful DSP.

I didn't really have any dimensions to follow I just used the scraps I had to pull this all together. I love how the Berry Burst Color Theory just pops against the black card base. Using layers of colour has helped create interest and dimension.

Have a good look in your scrap pile and see what you can create or click on the links below to head over to my online store to purchase some of the products I used.

Congratulations on your New BabyTeddy Bear Greetings Card

Hello Everyone,

Today's been a weird old day. the snow will just not let up at to minute - so apart from walking the dog - I have kept myself warm and cosy in my craft room.

I am trying to be more organised so I sat down to plan, but I started crafting and well let's just say I didn't get much planning done!! Although I have made some super cute projects ready to upload and show you guys - So still a productive day. Here's my favourite of the day.....

As seems to be my motto of late - keeping things simple and clean have been the way I have been working and this card is no exception. I used the Bundle of Love speciality designer series paper, which is foiled so adds that little bit of bling to the background.

Using the Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp Set and the builder punch created the beautiful teddy bear focal image.  This stamp set is so versatile and has so many uses after Christmas - I'm so glad I bought it!!

The sentiment is from a Clearly Besotted stamp set (Sssshhh - don't tell anyone!!)

The gold foil bold helped pull together the gold from the DSP.

Here's a list of all the products (except the contraband stamp set) from Stampin Up I used. Click on the links to go to my shop and purchase or contact me above. Don't forget that Sale-a-Bration is drawing to a close on March 31st so if you purchase over £45 before shipping you can get some FREE goodies. The only happens once a year folks.
