A Star is Born Little Twinkle Greeting Card

Good Morning,

I hope you are all doing well. It's  a very cold Saturday morning here, brrrrr.. I'm not heading out until I really have to today!! Haha.

The Little Twinkle stamp set has been around for a couple of years, and I'll admit, I don't use it as much as I should. So today I thought I'd bring it out and see what I could do, And I have this fab and fun, and slightly different baby card for you. It's not a traditional style and I love it. Teaming it up with the See a Silhouette DSP was a great idea!

Measurements

Pineapple Punch Cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8"  x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"
1pc - scrap for circle and stars

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - scrap for sentiment circle

See a Silhouette DSP
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Create the card base by folding the Pineapple Punch Cardstock along the score line, add the whisper white to the inside and the see a Silhouette DSP to the card front.

Bring in your die cutting machine and using the stitched shapes dies, cut out a whisper white and a pineapple punch circle, making sure the Pineapple Punch is larger.

On the whisper white circle stamp the stars using pacific point ink, and do the same on the pineapple punch circle with pineapple punch ink. Layer these two together and add to the centre of the card front.

On a scrap stamp the star in blueberry bushel ink and fussy cut. Layer this onto a scrap of pineapple punch cardstock and trim to leave a small border all around the edge. Add this to the circles on the card.

Finally punch out some of the stars in pineapple punch using the twinkle builder punch, add these stars to opposite corners and cover these with wink of stella.

Love What You Do Thank You Card

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I'm not sure if you are familiar with Stampin for All over on Facebook, but its a fantatsic group which runs two challenges a week. I find joining in with these helps me focus my creating. There's a sketch released on a Monday and a Colour Challenge of a Wednesday.

For this week's Random Colour Challenge we were given Shaded Spruce, Pear Pizzazz and Early Espresso - this combo was definitely a challenge, but this is what I can up with....

Measurements

Pear Pizzazz Cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"  , scored at 4 1/8"

Whisper White Cardstock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 3 3/4" x 2 1/8"

Shaded Spruce Cardstock
1pc - 3 3/4" x 2 1/2".

Crate your card base by folding the pear pizzazz on the score line. Sponge the edges of a larger piece of the whisper white and add to the inside.

On the other large whipser white piece create your background. I used early espresso for the 'branches', then stamp the leaves in pear pizzazz stamped off once, finally the flowers in shaded spruce, this time stamped off three times - I found it too 'strong' otherwise. I didn't think too much about spacing either, I just stamped over the previous stamping to create a layered look. Sponge the edges with early espresso. Cover the back with snail adhesive and add to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment and the flower outline image onto the remaining piece of whisper white - now with my dimensions, it will be a tight fit, so I would stamp the sentiment first as low down as you can, then position the flower stem to fit.

Using the infill stamp for the petals, stamp two with pear pizzazz and one with shaded spruce, both colours stamped off once, sponge the edges with the early espresso and add to the shaded spruce cardstock which you should  sponge as well. Place the panel into the centre of the hand stamped background.

Snowman Seasons Merry Christmas Gate Fold Card

Good Morning Everyone,

We've made it to Friday and Im so glad, it's been a super busy week, but just need to get today done with and them we have a full weekend of nothing planned, a lazy weekend of bits and bobs to do.

Anyway, enough if that... let me show you today's card. It's a fun gate fold card, this is a fab fancy fold which is so easy to do!   I absolutely love the Snowman Seasons suite its full of beautiful paper, cute stamping images.

Measurements

Poppy Parade Cardstock
1pc - 11" x 6"
1pc - 4 1/4" x 3 3/8"

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 3 1/4"
1pc - 5" x 5 1/2"

Let it Snow Speciality designer series paper
1pc - 5 7/8" x 5 3/8"
2pc - 2 5/8" x 5 7/8"

Take your large piece of Poppy parade cardstock and on the long side score at 2 3/4" and 8 1/4". Fold from the left to the centre, and the right to the centre. This will give you the gate fold shape. Make sure you burnish the score lines well.

Add your thin DSP panels to the front. I find it easier to close the card up and add them that way. Then place the remaining piece of DSP to the inside, placing the largest whisper white panel on top.

On the other piece of whisper white, stamp the sentiments to the top and bottom of the piece in Poppy Parade ink. Then come in with the snowman image and add in the centre. Colour the snowman using a selection of blends. Layer this piece to the poppy parade cardstock.

Put dimensional on the back of this panel, but only on the left half of the piece, and adhere down onto the card amking sure the adhesive sticks only to the left hand panel. If you go over this you may stick the whole card together and be unable to open.
