Hydrangea Hill Birthdays are the Best Days Card.

Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Wednesday,  today is an exciting day... Me and Dave are heading to register Poppy's birth, so later this morning she will officially exist! What are tou all doing today??

My card for today is literally layering DSP and card stock to make something interesting. That really is the beauty of Stampin Up. The designers spend so much time and effort in creating these amazing Paper Packs that the effort can be minimum our part to make a really great card!

Peony Garden So Grateful for All You Do Greeting Card.

 Good Morning Everyone,

1pc - 1" x 3 5/8"

1pc - 4" x 3 5/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 3 1/2" x 7/8"

In Good Taste DSP

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Peony Garden DSP

1pc - 3 7/8" x 3 1/2"

Create your card base by folding the Basic Gray card stock along the score line. Add the basic white piece to the inside and the In Good Taste DSP to the card front.

Stamp the sentiments from Ornate Thanks ontk the thin strip of basic white. Layer this onto the strip of Basic Gray.

Layer up the square of dsp and the swuare piece of basic Gray.

Add both these pieces to the card front, making sure you have them evenly spaced.

Forever Greenery Happy Birthday Stable Door Card. Share it on a Sunday

 Good Morning Everyone,

For this week's share it on a Sunday we have the theme - NATURE. A really broad topic which can encompass so much, but I have focused on leaves and foliage for today.

Recently I did a stable door card in a landscape orientation, so thought I would try it in Portrait and I love how this has turned out.

Measurements

Shaded Spruce Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

1pc - 2" x 3 3/8"

scrap

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

scrap

Forever Greenery DSP

1pc - 3 3/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 1 7/8" x 3 3/8"

scrap

Take the Shaded Spruce card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Now, on what will be your card front, mark down 2 1/4" from the top and the cut that top section off up to the score line. This will make the front piece smaller than the back piece.

Layer up the thin strip of DSP onto the strip of shaded spruce card stock, then adhere this to the larger piece of DSP. Add this to the card front.

Now, bring in your Stampin Cut & Emboss machine and cut the following using the stitched shapes dies:-

Largest circle in Shaded Spruce Card Stock

Second largest circle in DSP

Next size down in Basic White,

Also, run the basic white card stock through the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder which has all the leaves on - it's a small folder, but just run it through as much of the top of the card as possible.

Add the embossed panel to the inside of the card.

Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment from Here's a Card in Shaded Spruce onto the Basic White circle, then layer all three circles up. Pop dimensionals onto the lower half of the circle and add to the card front, making sure the top half sits above the cut edge.

I hope you have enjoyed today's card, please pop over and see what Donna and Karen have made.

Moving Along Boys Birthday Card Ink Stamp Share March 2021 Blog Hop

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in the Ink Stamp Share March Blog Hop. Where a group of talented paper crafters are showcasing Male (Men or Boys) projects.

I have opted to use the Moving Along Stamp Set and create a card for a little boy with a fun train and helicopter!

Measurements

Granny Apple Green Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Misty Moonlight Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Scraps

Basic White Card Stock

2pc - 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"

Scraps

Cretae your card base by folding the granny apple green card stock along the score line, add one of the basic white pieces to the inside and the misty moonlight to the card front.

On the remaining piece of Basic White build up a scene with the train and the helicopter. This stamp set give you and outline stamp and a solid infill stamp to 'colour' it in.

Once you are happy with your scene add this panel to the card front.

Stamp the Happy Birthday form Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set onto some scrap, cut the words apart and layer up on scraps of misty moonlight and add to the card front.
