Tidings & Trimming Wonderful Time of the Year Double Z Fold Christmas Card. Share it on a Sunday

 Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Sunday folk. We are creating  Christmas in September today with our Share it on a Sunday series.

I have made the lovely, and pretty easy Double Z  Fold card and decorated it with the Tidings of Christmas Bundle. I like this style beacuse it's not really fussy with the decoration but it's a really special card to give. I used lots of different patterns on this mainly becuase I dipped into my scraps but you could do whatever you prefer.

Measurements

Sahara Sand Card Stock

1pc - 11" x 4 1/4", scored at 2 3/4" & 5 1/2"

1pc - 10" x 2 3/4", scored at 4 3/4" & 7 1/2"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 1 1/2" x 3"

1pc - 5 1/2" x 4"

scraps

Cherry Cobbler Card Stock

1pc - 1 5/8" x 3 1/8"

Tidings of Christmas DSP

1pc - 5 1/4" x 4"

2pc - 2 1/2" x 4"

1pc - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"

1pc - 4 1/2" x 2 1/2"

1pc - 2 1/4" x 2 1/2"

---------------------------------------

Fold and burnish both pieces of Sahara card stock, making sure you create a Z shape ( fold in half and then back on itself).

Now add all the DSP  and white card to the bases. Put the basic white onto the back of the card, and then you will find that all the rest just fit in one place so it's pretty easy to find their homes. Stamp the sentiment onto the smallest piece of Basic White adn alyer onto the Cherry Cobbler card stock, adding this piece to the larger panel on the smaller piece of card stock

Adhere the smaller z fold to the larger one, the larger piece has the bigger back panel to the right, the smaller piece leads with the larger panel. Add liquid glue to the back of the smallest panel on the small z fold piece and adhere to the centre of the larger back panel.

Now, fold all the pieces down, don't worry some to the edges will overlap - then add adhesive to the front piece of the smaller z, making sure you only add adhesive to the section that will be stuck to the other piece, otherwise you will just make a mess and stick it all closed!!

Finally Stamp a stocking and a star and cut using the coordinating dies or if you dont have them, they are a simple enough shape to fussy cut. Add these aroudn the sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed my card today, pleaee take a look at what Donna and Karen have also created for this week's Share it on a Sunday

You're so Mermazing Birthday Card. Stamping with Friends Colouring Blog Hop. September 2021

 Good Evening Everyone,

Today I'm hopping with the Stamping with Friend group and this hop is all about Colouring. Those of you who follow me will know I love to colour so I was so excited that this theme came up.

I decided to ink up this super cute Mermaid and give her centre stage over background of brightly coloured waves? what do you think?

The DSP is from the Beautifully Penned DSP pack with is currently FREE. I think this is a lesser used pattern as the other side, but it works perfectly here

Measurements

Coastal Cabana Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

Bermuda Bay Card Stock

1pc - 2 3/8" x 2 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 2 1/2" x 2 3/4"

scraps

Gold Foil

scrap strips

Beautifully Penned DSP

1pc - 2 7/8" x 5 5/8"

---------------------------

Take your coastal cabana card stock and fold along the score line. With your Detailed Trio Punch round the top right and bottom left corners. Do the same for the basic white piece and add this to the inside of the card.

Using a selection of Stampin Blends, colour in the wave patterned DSP from the Beautifully Penned DSP pack. Adhere a thing strip of gold foil to the top and the bottom of this panel then add this to the centre of the card front.

Stamp the mermaid onto the remaining piece of basic white and colour in, again with Blends. Round the same corners as above on this piece and the same with the BErmuda Bay card stock. Layer these together and add to the card front over to the right hand side.

On scraps of Basic white, stamp the two sentiments, trim and layer onto scraps of gold foil. Then add these to the left hand side of the card front.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and will give it a go, but for now please continue through the hop to get some more amazing colouring inspiration. Kelly Palce Taranto is up next

Celebrate with Flowers Happy Birthday Card. Stampin Birds Showcase Blog Hop. September 2021

 Good Morning Everyone,

It's the Stampin Birds Showcase Blog Hop today!! woo hoo. We have a selection of projects to inspire - not set along a theme so there's huge variety! So be sure to continue through the hop once you've taken a look at my project!

I chose to use the Celebrate with Flowers stamps et and I'll be honest, it's one of the first sets I ordered when the new catalogue came out but I haven't really used it much - don't know why, It's beautiful.

The fold is the same as a sample I saw in the catalogue but I've completely changed my decoration.

Measurements

Evening Evergreen Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

Soft Succulent Card Stock

1pc - 5 3/4" x 7/8"

2pc - 3" x 5 3/4"

Pale Papaya Card Stock

1pc - 1 1/2" x 4 5/8"

scraps

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 3/4" x 5 5/8"

2pc - 2 7/8" x 4 3/8"

1pc - 1 3/8" x 4 1/2"

--------------------------------

Take the Evening Evergreen Card stock a fold along the score line to create a standard card base, then trim off 1" from the right hand side. Make sure you only cut this from the card front otherwise you will just end up with a shorter card!

With youe Evening Evergreen ink, stamp the leaf image all over one of the larger pieces of basic white card stock and then layer onto a larger piece of soft succulent card stock. This needs to be adhered to the card front.

Stamp the happy birthday sententiment into the centre of the thin strip of basic white and add a leaf to the top and bottom, just to get rid of the white space. Layer this to the coordinating soft suucent strip of card stock and add this to your card. I found it easier to close the card up and then adhere this down to the inside of the back panel to get my placement just right.

Layer up the last larger pieces of basic white and soft succulent card stock and add this to the inside of the card, making sure that you can't see any of it when the card is closed.

Stamp the tall stem and leaf image onto the remaining piece of basic white, layer onto the Pale Papaya card stock and add to the centre of the card front.

Finally stamp three of the flower heads in Pale Papaya ink onto a scrap of Pale Papaya card stock. Fussy cut one so it's the full head, and then trim the other two so they are slightly smaller.

Add the full flower head to the top of the stem and then add the two smaller heads further down.

I hope you enjoyed todya's card, please contuine through the hop to see what else my team mates have been creating. Donna is up next...

Beauty of the Earth Thanks Card. Crafty Collaborations Autumn Themed Blog Hop. September 2021

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in an Autumn Themed Blog Hop with the Crafty Collaborations ladies.

I struggled to get off the starting blocks with this one as I don't have any super obvious autumn themed stamp sets,  but by pulling various items from my stash including punches and pretty DSP and some autumnal colours I got there!

Measurements

Cinnamon CIder Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4" scored at 5 7/8"

Mossy Meadow Card Stock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

scraps

Cajun Craze Card Stock

1pc - 1 1/2" x 1 1/2"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

scraps

Vellum Card Stock

scraps

Beauty of the Earth DSP

1pc - 1 3/8" x 1 3/8"

scraps

-------‐---------------

Fold the Cinnamon Cider card Stock along the score line and add the basic white panel to the inside.

Take the piece of Mossy Meadow card srock and place one of the shorter ends into the Mossy Moments embossing folder and then emboss using your Cut and Emboss machine. This folder is a thin one so will only go approx half way down the card. Repeat the process for the opposite end.

Add this panel to the card front.

Now, get all the following elements ready.

- Punch out the Following...

1) A handful of leaves using the Symmetrical Leaf Punch in Cinnamon Cider, Mossy Meadow, Early Espresso and Vellum.

2) two vellum shapes from the tailored tag Punch

 - Cut out the following...

1) one strip of DSP approx 1/2" x 2 1/2"

2) one thicker strip of DSP approx 1", then using your snips create deep banner tails.

 - Layer the DSP square to the Cajun Craze square

 - stamp the sentiment from Biggest Wish onto a scrap of basic white in cajun Craze ink and fussy cut.

Now, it's time to use all these elements to build the cluster. There was no rhyme or reason or planning really as to position- I just made sure that my vellum tag punch outs when down first, just so I could be sure to cover any glue. Then i just played around with the placement adding to it until I felt it was done.

I hope you liked my card today, please take a look at the list below and continue through to take a look at some more awesome Autumn inspiration.
