Good Morning Everyone,
Today I've created quite a simple card. Sometimes it's nice to add lots and lots of elements and push your limits with layers and dies cuts and punch out - but sometimes that's not what the recipient would prefer.
This card is a thank you for a good friend of mine, he has a very particular style- none fussy clean and simple. But that doesnt have the mean boring....

Basic White Card Stock

‐---‐------------------------
Take the Merry Merlot card Stock and Fold along the score line. Stamp a small portion of the flourish into the top left and bottom right in Basic Gray ink and add to the inside of the card.
Using the same stamp and ink, add the image to the DSP, create a border. Now using a dark Smoky Slate blend pick out some areas to colour. It just adds a bit mor interest.
Add this panel to the card front.
Tank the remaining piece of basic white and put it into the Elegant punch to create the fancy top. To keep the length of the card. Put the card into the punch as normal but then pull it through until you are at the top of the cardstock and then punch. Like this..
Round the bottom two corners.
Repeat the process for the gold foil.
Stamp the sentiments on the white and layer this with the gold foil, but off set slightly.
Add this to the card front.
Finally tie a bow with the gold thread and add to the tag using a glue dot.
Here's a list of the supplies I used in today's card. Click on the images to head over to my online store.
