It's Monday again, how did that happen? These weekends are flying by, but I am now down to 4 day working weeks - So Monday is now attached to my weekend! I'm hoping to be able to spend most of the day in the craft room.
The project I have today is a cute little gift balm box that I made for the Colour challenge over on Stampin for All, which we were given Flirty Flamingo, Lovely Lipstick & crumb Cake - which are all colours in the All My Love Suite. The finished dimensions are 1" x 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".
Measurements:-
Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
1pc - 7 1/2" x 4 1/2"
All My Love Designer Series Paper
1pc - 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"
Take your flirty flamingo and score on the long side at 1"x 3 1/2", 4 1/2" & 7", then on the short side at 3 1/2".
Using you snip, cut away some of the sections to create the shape below
Add the DSP onto the Flirty Flamingo in the large rectangle to the left hand side (as Above). The run tear and tape along the 1/2" tab you created on the right hand side - fold this round and adhere to the opposite side. Hold the card so the join is towards the back, fold in the two sides, fold the back in and then adhere the front down.
Pop the lip balm into the box, then pinch the top closed. Add to holes to the top with the handheld punch. Thread the grosgrain ribbon through these and then tie in a bow.
Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of whisper white and add the border - cut this out with the classic label punch. Add this to the to a scrap of lovely lipstick then fussy cut to give a thin border. Add to the box with mini dimensionals.
