Beautiful Promenade You're Stronger Than Most Card

Good afternoon ,

Happy Halloween everyone!! We haven't been huge on halloween at our house in the past but now Imogen is around, we must do something... My sister is having a Halloween party this evening and we are carving a Pumkpin today.. so it's a start.

My card for today is another challenge card, and it was a challenge.. white on white, now I do not do muted let along plain white. I decided to use a lot of heat embossing to create my layers, so it took me a while to do this, but I'm chuffed with the results.

First, take a piece of whisper white that measures 5 5/8"x 3 7/8" and rub tour embossing buddyover the whole piece, thwn using versamark ink stamp the large flower all over. Sprinkle wirh clear embossing powder and using your heat tool melt the embossing powder to set. On a scrap of vellum, stamp the image again with versamark but this time sprinkle over white embossing powder and set as belwo. Once cooled fussy cut. Repeat the embossing process pne last time with the sentiment and silver embossing powder. Once cooled, cut banner tails on the lwft hand side.

On the large embossed piece, wrap somw of the silver metallic edged trim around the front of the card and secure on the back. Add this panel to a card base made from whisper white. Pop the sentiment below the ribbon and add the fussy cut vellum flower  on the ribbon, i added a small amount of glue under ribbon, where the dimensional will sit to secure it further. Then, place three metallic pearls in the flower centre.

Perennial Essence For You Hand Cream Gift Box

Good Morning Everyone,

How you all doing? Today Imogen has a lunch date with Grandma, so I'm gunna head into the craft room for a few hours and get myself ahead - well in theory!

I have this super cute gift box for you tosay, i made it to hold a hand cream from The Body Shop, but at 4 1/2" x 1" x 1 3/4", I'm sure you could fit a variety of different goodies in there!!

Measurements

BlackBerry Bliss Cardstock
1pc - 6" x 7"
1pc - scrap for sentiment

Perennial Essence DSP
2pc - 4 3/8" x 1 5/8"
2pc - 4 3/8" x 7/8"
1pc - 7 /8" x 1 5/8"

Scraps of whisper white and petal pink cardstock.

Put the card stock into your simply scored and on the long side score at 1", 5 1/2" & 6 1/2". Then on the short side at 1", 2 3/4", 3 3/4" & 5 1/2". Fold and burnish all the score lines using a bone folder.

Using your snips, cut away sections to create the shape below. Round the corners of the top 'flap' using the detailed trio punch.

Add the DSP panels to the carstock, and belwo. TIP: to get you DSP pattern to follow all the way round, cut the DSP to 4 3/8" high. Then cut your sections in order - thin, thick, thin, thick. That way the pattern will continue all around the box. Then with the the 1" circle punch add a thumb notch.

Add tear and tape to the tab on the right hand side, then adhere to the opposite side. Fold in the sides, back and adhere down the front flaps at the bottom to create the base. Close the box at the top by folding in the flaps and folding over the lid. Because you rounded the corners, you should get an easy closure.

Finally cut out three labels, using the small tag die from bouquet bunch dies. One in whisper white, petal pink and BlackBerry Bliss. Stanp the sentiment onto the whisper white, then thread bakers twine through all three tags and tie, trim off the edges to neaten up and stick to the front of the box using a dimensionals.

Mosaic Mood Hummingbird Birthday Wishes Card

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Happy Monday, hope you are all having a good Monday so far, me and Imogen headed out to town first thing to do some shopping, now we are back home playing - so whilst I think on, I'll share my card for today...

Create a card base by folding a piece of Mint Macaron that measures 11 3/4" x 4 1/8" in half. Add a panel of very vanilla to the inside that measures 5 5/8" x 3 7/8".

Cut a piece of the rose patterned DSP from mosaic Mood to 5 5/8 x 3 7/8". Wrap rhe ribbon around the bavk of this DSP and tie in a square knot, secure with glue dots and add this panel to the card front.

Fussy cut a hummingbird from the DSP and add to the cars with dimensionals, I positioned mine ove one of the roses.

Stamp the sentiment in Mint Macaron onto a scrap of very vanilla. Take the card and dab the edges lightly down onto the mint macaron ink pad, this will give a small thin line of colour around the edges. Add this to the card with dimensionals.

Dinoroar Z Fold Birthday Card

Good evening everyone,

Hopw you have had a fab weekend... I don't know where the time goes. We have done a tonne of stuff, and had a lot of fun which is the main thing.

Today's card is for the weekly challenge on Crafty Stamping Club on Facebook which is run by Smith's Crafty Creations. This week it's to create a  Fun Fold card, and here's mine......

Measurements

Gray Granite Cardstock
1pc - 4" x 11"

Mango Melody Cardstock
1pc - approx 5" x 3"

Dinoroar DSP
One design
1pc - 5 1/4" x 3 3/4"
2pc - 3 3/4" x 2 1/2"

One design
2pc - 3 3/4" x 2 1/2"
1pc - scrap for the sentiment

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 1/4" x 3 3/4"
1pc - scrap for sentiment

Take your piece of gray granite and score on the long side at 2 3/4" & 5 1/2", fold and burnish in a concertina fashion and you will end up with a piece of cardstock that looks like this.

Next take the three piece of DSP which are of the same design and add to the cardstock as below.

On the larger panel of whisper stamp the happy birthday from perennial birthday and the 'its sure to be a fun day' from itty bitty birthdays to the centre in old olive ink.

Add this panel to the reverse of the card, and the other two pieces of dsp to the smaller sections on the back. Be sure to check the direction of the DSP to ensure that the images on the front and the sentiment on the back face the same way up.

Run the mango melody, dsp scrap and whisper white scrap through your die cutring machine using three sizes of stitched nested labels dies.  Stamp the happy birthday on the white labels.Layer all these together. Then fold the card 'closed' and add to the front. Add dimensionals to the left hand half only and adhere that half to the small panel on the left, the shape will over hang, so be sure not to stick any over the edge or the card will not open.

Finally colour three rhinestones with your old olive blend, then add under the birthday stamping.
