 Good Afternoon Everyone,

I'm taking part in Crafty Collaborations Share it Sunday Blog Hop today. We are all showcasing any projects we have made using the Fabulous products from Stampin Up.

My project today is a fab one, it's not a new idea in fact this has been done for years and years by a lot of people. These are Covered Mini Post It Notes. I tend to sit and a batch of these probably once a month, They come in really handy as I give them out for lots of reasons new catalogues, orders and just having handy in my bag or on my desk! I find it so handy to have a stash of these ready made as I never know when I may need one.

They are a fab way to use up those scraps as well.

Measurements

Cardstock

DSP

3cm x 5 1/2cm

or 1 7/16", 1 13/16", 3 3/8" & 3 3/4"

Take the detailed Trio Punch and round the corners of what side, like this

Now, round the bottom two corners of the DSP and adhere to the rounded side of the card stock like so:-

Add some liquid glue to the back of the post it note pad and adhere to the card stock in the largest rectangular area. Making sure that the open edge of the pad is facing towards the right side.

Add a velcro dot to the flap that has the rounded edges, the place the opposite pad directly above it, glue side up

Then fold over the straight edge panel, then fold the other flap with the velcro one and push down so that the velcro dots are firmly stuck down.

Rustic Retreat Masculine Happy Birthday Card. Share it on a Sunday

 Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Sunday  Everyone, hope you have had a great weekend so far!!.

As it's Sunday it's time for another Share it on a Sunday with Donna and Karen.

This week we are creating Masculine projects.  This is something I can find quite difficult, but the Rustic Retreat stamp set is really good to use, makes it much easier!!

Measurements

Merry Merlot Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

scraps

Neutrals DSP Pack

Night of Navy

1pc - 3 7/8" x 1 1/4"

Mossy Meadow

Scraps for the circle and the sentiment mats

Take your Merry Merlot Csrd Stock and fold along the score line to create  your card base. Add the basic white to the inside.

Using Merry Merlot ink cover the card front with the Deer and Bear images.

Add the Night of Navy Strip of DSP to the centre of the card.

Run a Piece of Basic White and Mossy Meadow DSP through your Cut & Emboss machine with the circles from the Stitched shapes dies. Making sure the basic white one is slight smaller than the DSP one. I used the largest one for the Mossy Meadow and the next one down for the white.

Stamp the cabin scene onto the basic white circle, then once dry colour in with a selection of blends.

Adhere this to the DSP circle and add to the card front with dimensionals over the DSP strip on the card front.

On a scrap stamp the sentiment from Approaching Perfection twice in night of Navy. Cut these out to get two separate words. I found it easier to stamp two and use one word from each, as the words are close together it was hard to get an even border around both words.

Please pop over and see what Donna and Karen have both made this week.

 Good Morning Everyone,

Today Is a super special day - it's the Stampin Birds first ever Blog Hop. Members of the team have created a project and we will link through to each others so you can take a look.

I came across these Clipper Tea Bags whilst in the supermarket and grabbed them, they are a really nice cuppa, but also I thought perfect to give a few as a little gift.

Measurements

Pumpkin Pie Card Stock

1pc - 7 1/2" x 4 3/4"

True Love DSP

1pc 3 1/4" x 3 1/4"

Take your Pumpkin Pie card stock and score as follows:-

Long Side - 3 1/2" & 4"

Short Side - 3 1/2"

Fold and burnish the score lines well, then remove the small skinny rectangle that is along the bottom

Now place the two tea bags onto the card, and place a glue dot to each corner of the lower rectangles, marked with a cross below..

Now fold up these flaps and press down firmly to adhere and hold the tea bags in place.

Add a velcro dot to the right hand side of the card half way down the card, place the opposite piece of velcro on top, with the Glue edge upwards.

Close to holder and press firmly over the velcro to make sure its adhered well to the card stock.

Add the DSP to the front.

Run the second smallest oval from your Stitched Shapes Dies through the Cut & Emboss  Machine. Stamp the sentiment from Lovely You into the centre.

On a scrap of basic white, stamp the flower from Floral Essence in pumpkin pie ink and the centre in bumble Bee then fussy cut.

Add the sentiment and the flower to the front.
