It's Thursday, more than half way through the week - It's downhill from here!!
Earlier this week I joined in a team call, we have these regular for Demos in our team to have a chat, get inspiration and share ideas and learn! We are often set challenges to encourage us to create and think outside the box when it comes to using products. We were set a challenge to make a project using 3 or more colours!
This is my card, I used Call Me Clover, Blueberry Bushel & Grapefruit Grove. I absolutely love the new in colours, they are bold and bright and the names are pretty awesome too!

Blueberry Bushel Cardstock

Grapefruit Grove Cardstock
Scrap for the sentiment mat.
Using the solid oval stamp from the detailed with love stamp it onto the scrap of whisper white using Grapefruit Grove. Once the ink is dry, run it through the big shot using the second largest oval from the stitched shapes framelits, also cut of the largest oval in Grapefruit Grove card stock.
Take the smallest piece of Whisper white and punch the floral detail in each of the corners using the detailed trio punch. In the stamp set there is a border which fits perfectly around the punch out - Ink it up in Grapefruit Grove and stamp around the corners.
Fold and burnish the Call Me Clover cardstock to create your base, then layer up all your mats using snail. Add dimensionals to the ovals and layer in the centre of the card.
All done, I love the simplicity of this card. Showcasing the great new colours along with the items from the detailed with love suite.
Here's are all the products I used in my card, click on the images to head over to my online store.

I love this card Vickie, it really 'shows off' two of the new in-colours and what the new corner punch can do. Also involving a new stamp set. All in all you have clearly demonstrated SU know what they are doing by bringing in new products and colours to the new catalogue so that it inspires us crafters again and again and again. xx
ReplyDeleteAww thanks for your kind words Lorraine xx
