Share What You Love Mini Preserve Gift Box using Stampin Up Supplies

Hello,

Today I have a cute little box for you. I created this to house two mini single serving preserve jars, I thought these would make a really sweet little gift. Although with this measuring 3 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" you could fit an assortment of other goodies in here.

How cute are these little Jars?, and they were an inexpensive purchase from Amazon.

Take a piece of DSP that measures 8 3/4" x 7".

Score on the long side at 1 3/4", 3 1/2", 5 1/4" & 7" and on the short side at 1 3/4" & 5 1/4".

Hold the DSP horizontally and on the top cut up the first three score line from the left, notch into the first and third square. Repeat this along the bottom. Then, rotate the cardstock so it is now vertical and cut up the two score lines and notch into the square.

Turn the DSP back to horizontal and in should look like the image below.

Add tear and tape to the back of all the flaps you have created. Fold in the flaps as per the image above. the 'B' flaps fold in to create the base and the 'A' flaps fold in to create the lip. Once the lid is made, take the 3/4" circle punch and create a small thumb notch.

Pop in your goodies and then close up the box, wrap around some ribbon and tie in a bow.

Using the Tabs for everything stamp set, take the scallop circle and stamp in Old Olive, and then add the Enjoy in Berry Burst, Punch out with the 3/4" circle punch and add to the lid with a dimensional.

Here's a list of all the supplies I used, click on the links to head over to my online store to purchase the items to recreate todays project.

  1. What a great little box, I thought it was actually bigger until I saw the jars you had purchased to put inside it and the size of the piece of DSP used. What a great way to use up some old DSP that needs using up. TFS :O) xx
