It's been a little bit miserable here in Huddersfield today, so I thought I would inject some colour into my day! I haven't really used Lemon Lime Twist that much, probably more of an accent colour rather than a focal colour. Well that's all changed with my project for today. I love how bold and striking this card is and how quick it came together.
How did I do it? Here's How:-
Make your card base from a piece of whisper white cardstock which measures 4 1/4" x 11 3/4" scored and folded at 4 1/8".
Ink up the image from the balloon celebration in lemon lime twist and stamp all over a piece of lemon lime twist cardstock to create a funky background. Take a piece of basic black shimmer ribbon and wrap it around the cardstock and tie in a knot.
Cut a piece of basic black cardstock at 3 3/4 x 2 1/4" and centralise on the background layer. take a piece of whisper white card stock that measures 3 1/4 x 2 and stamp the stylized birthday stamp in lemon lime twist in the centre.Then take the string image from the balloon celebration stamp set and stamp it off to the right of the card. Layer this onto the basic black panel.
Take a piece of foil frenzy speciality paper and using the balloon bouquet punch create a large balloon, ink the edges with soft suede it and add to the card with dimensionals.
