Case the Catty - Congratulations on your New Arrival using Stampin Up Products

Hi Everyone, today is project number four in the Case the Catty Series. I nearly missed this one when flicking through the catalogue as its a small image sitting below a large stamp set. I am so glad I spotted it though as I had great fun recreating it, and did a technique I hadn't even thought of doing before. Here's the catalogue image

I'm pretty pleased with the results although I did have to use slightly different dies .Here is my version....

How did I do it? Here's How:-

Make a card base from a piece of whisper white card stock cut at 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" scored at 4 1/8".

Take a piece of DSP from the Petal Garden pack which measure 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and rub over with your embossing buddy. Ink up the sentiment from Better Together stamp set in Versamark and stamp towards the top of the mat. Sprinkle over White Embossing Powder and lightly tap away any excess. Bring in you heat gun and hover over the image until the powder melts for a dull finish to a gloss finish. Layer this panel onto your card base using plenty of adhesive.

Bring out your big shot machine and cut out the two middle sized square dies, the larger one from Old Olive cardstock and the other from Wild Wasabi. Layer these together using snail adhesive. Take the floral image DSP from the same DSP pack and cut a strip measuring 4" x 1/2". Snip both ends to create flag tails and adhere centrally across the die cut square.

Find a scrap of whisper white and using the Pretty Label punch, create one shape. In the centre of this stamp the nappy pin image from the Better Together tamp set in calypso coral ink. Again, adhere this to the die cut squares. Add dimensional to the back of the this piece and place underneath the embossed sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed this project, and will try it yourself! Here are all of all the products used

Thanks for stopping by!
