Have a Dino-riffic Day! Birthday Card using Stampin Up Products

Hello,

It was my Nephew's 3rd birthday on Tuesday and I had to make him a pretty cool card. He's really into truck and cars, Paw Patrol and Twirly Woos - Whatever they are!! Now, none of this really helped me as I couldn't make anything with those things on - but I finally settled on this design. What kid wouldn't love this card, it's bright and colourful and full of Dinosaurs!!!

How did I do it? Here's How?

Take a piece of crumb cake that measures 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" scored at 4 /8 to create your card base. Cut a piece a of whisper white that is 5 7/8"x 3 7/8" and layer on the inside of the card.

Using the dinosaur print from the Pick a Pattern designer series paper, cut a piece that is 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" and layer onto the front of the card. Whilst you have that paper to hand, fussy cut a selection of the dinosaurs and plants and put off to the side.

Bring in your big shot and your stitched shape framelits. Cut the largest square out of soft suede cardstock and the 2nd largest circle from Whisper white cardstock.

Take the circle and stamp the sentiment from the No bones about it stamp set in black archival ink.

Now you start to put the card together - place the soft suede square towards the top of the card, offset it slightly, but not so it's symmetrical. Using dimensionals add the sentiment to the top of the soft suede piece. Pop the fussy cut images up on mini dimenisonals and fill in the lower piece of the square.

I hope you enjoyed this project and will try it out yourself! Here is a list of all the products I have used. If you need any of the items, click on them and it will take you direct to my store.
