Pansy Patch Happy Birthday Card. Stamping with Friends blog hop May 2020

 Good Evening Everyone

I'm blog hopping with the Stamping with Friends group tonight and our theme is Bouquet of Flowers - so a Floral Project. I decided to use the Pansy Patch stamp set as I absolutely love Pansies.

I have teamed it up with the New Horizons DSP, which seemed a bit wild at first, but I think it really works - what do you think?

---------------------------------------------------

Take the larger piece of Evening Evergreen Card Stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding the larger piece of Basic white to the inside.

On the larger piece of DSP, stamp the smaller pansy all over in Gray Granite ink. I used the same colour, but used 1st and 2nd generation stamping (stamping off once first before applying the stamp to the project). Adhere this to the card front.

Stamp the sentiments in Evening Evergreen onto the remaining piece of DSP in the top right hand corner, layer this to the remaining Evening evergreen panel and add this to the card front in the centre, slightly towards the right.

On Scraps of the DSP stamp some more pansies using Polished Pink & Orchid Oasis ink  and a handful of leaves on Evening Evergreen - using 1st and 2nd generation stamping again to get good shading. Fussy cut or use the coordinating dies. Stick these all over the strip of Basic white to create a strip of 'DSP'. Place this towards the left hand side of the card front - overlapping the sentiment square.

I hope you liked my card today - please continue through the hop by clicking the button below and head over to Candi's Blog to see what she has created today
