--------------------------------
With your Merry Merlot card stock score on the long side at 2 1/16" on one side, then turn it over and score at 2 1/16", so that you have two thinner strip down either side of the length. Fold these both toward the centre of the card stock and these will close together to create the card front. Pop the basic white card stock into the inside back panel of the card.
Take the three pieces of Basic White and using the fussy cut images arrange them to fill two of the strips fully, then add a small accent after you have added the sentiment to the remaining piece. I too a piece of 6x6" DSP which I had and fussy cut some of the flowers that were against the cut edges then arranged then onto the card and trimmed down so they were flush. This meant I could use up some pieces of the DSP which I would otherwise struggle to use. See Below....
Layer up the these three piece onto the mats of Merry Merlot and then arrange then on the card front, trying to evenly space then out so that it all looks central and have the sentiment in the middle.
Now, you have to concentrate and be careful where you apply your adhesive - if you go too far you will stick the card shut!
Start with the top piece and add adhesive to the back of it, but only on the half that will cover the left hand 'door' - the rest should be free to just sit over the opposite 'door'. Repeat this exact process for the bottom panel. Then with the centre panel add adhesive only to the half that will sit over the right hand 'door'.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today - like I said it's really simple and I can see that this could easily be adapted to any occasion and any style by just switching up the DSP. The Design also allows you to use up some scraps of otherwise unused pieces of DSP.
