Good Morning Everyone
Happy Friday - I hope you are all well?
Throughout May Donna, Karen and Myself are participating in a couple of Mini Series to keep us creating and sharing. Today is the first of our Fun Fold Friday Series.
I decided my first one would be a favourite Fun Fold - A Double Flap Fold is so easy to create but it looks really special, especially with the Symbols of Fortune DSP. The Sentiment is from Inspired Thoughts - It's never nice to have to make these types of cards, but when you do, it's nice we can make them special. My friend requested a sympathy card and here it is....

Fussy cut Crane and Flower
---------------------------------------------
Take your largest piece of Smoky Slate Card Stock and score as follows:-
Long side at 2 1/2", 5 7/8" & 10".
Fold the card along the centre score line as you would to make a standard card base, then fold the top score line towards the left, and then the bottom score line towards the left. this will give you those two flaps/folds.
Now add you DSP and Basic Whotw piece to the card as follows
Fold the card up (have it laid out like the top image) and wrap the 3/4" strip of smoky slate card around the card and secure with a little liquid glue at the front. Trim off the excess card stock. Make sure that the belly band is loose enough to move on and off your card, but tight enough to stay put when closed.
Layer up the remaining DSP and Evening Evergreen card Stock. Take the fussy cut flower and stick down towards the left then trim so its flush with the edges. Stamp the sentiment onto a scrap I'm evening Evergreen ink and trim, cutting the right side at an angle. Tuck this under the flowers and have it over hang the edge of the panel below.
Layer the fussy cut Crane onto some mint Macaron card Stock and trim leaving and even border around the edges. Then add this to the sentiment panel.
Add this to the bellyband with dimensionals.
I hope you like today's card and will give it a go yourself. Please head over and check out which Fun Folds Donna & Karen have chosen today
