Happiness Abounds Many Thanks Greeting Card. Touches of Ink Blog Hop. May 2022

 Good Afternoon Everyone

I hope you are all well. I'm blog hopping with the wonderful Touches of Ink ladies today.

For this months project I decided to focus on Happiness Abounds - it's my most favourite bundle so far, well it is right now, that may change quickly and we have so many beautiful products in our new catalogue.

I decide to do an old fashioned One Sheet Wonder Approach and I hand Stamped a full sheet of card stock, then cut it down to create my own DSP. This is a really great way to get a design perfectly unique and individual for the recipient!

Measurements

Basic Black Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

1pc - scrap strip

Basic White Card Stock

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

-----------------------------

Stamp a full sheet of Basic White card stock with the flower and leaf images in memento ink and leave to completely dry.

Then cut along the long side at 5 5/8" first, then cut that down on it's longest side to get 2 card fronts.

You will need one for today's project - but keep hold of the other pieces because I have a couple of other projects with them coming up soon!

Take this stamped Panel and colour with a selection of Stampin Blends. I chose Pool Party, Melon Mambo & Mossy Meadow as these all appear in the DSP and I thought They worked well together.

On the thin strip of basic black card stock, stamp the sentiment in Versamark ink, the cover with White embossing powder and heat set. Once cooled add to the lower right hand corner of your stamped panel and trim the edges so they are flush.

Add this panel to your card base - created by folding the larger piece of Basic Black card stock along the score line. Finally add the plain piece of Basic White to the inside.

This is such a simple card, and a really great way to a) Creating you own bespoke DSP and b) you could get four card front's front one A4 sheet making it very frugal on those supplies!

I hope you have enjoyed my card today and will keep your eye out for the upcoming projects with the remaining pieces of the stamped card, but for now please continue through the hop and check out what all these other Talented ladies have created to share with you today, please start by visiting Liane from Jungle Cards
