Good Morning Everyone
Happy Saturday! Today I'm taking part in the InspireINK monthly Blog Hop. Each month one of the members sets the them. Now, this month the lovely Janice Thompson has chosen Summer, Insects & Flower - Yep! you read right! Personally I think she may have had a cheeky Gin or two when coming up with this one! haha.
That being said, it was a great challenge to really get you digging deep, both into your stash and also your creative brain to try and make this work.
I pulled products from a both the New Annual Catalogue and the current Jan-Jun mini. I'm not sure how often you will see a Dragonfly hovering around Geraniums, but you do today!!

The Sunburst Design

----------------------------------
Take the Starry Sky Card Stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, then add the Basic white card stock to the inside and the DSP panel to the card front.
On scraps of Basic White card stock stamp the following...
- The Flower pot with Crumb cake ink - 2nd generation (stamped off once) on the most solid image and 1st generation for the more detailed stamp.
- The stems and leaves outline with Evening Evergreen filing in with the solid image in Soft Succulent.
- The cluster of flowers outline in Flirty Flamingo, then the solid in 2nd Generation Flirty Flamingo
- The Plant Label and sentiment in Starry Sky.
Take all the above stamped images and run through your Mini Cut & Emboss Machine using the coordinating dies.
Stamp the sentiment in Starry sky onto a strip of Basic white the measure 3 7/8" long and add this to the card front towards the bottom with liquid glue.
Then taking all the die cut elements, arrange then on the card front to create a full flower pot. I adhered these down with dimensionals. Add these over to the left, having the flowers lean towards the centre.
Finally cut out a small Dragonfly using the Dragonflies Punch in Starry Sky card stock and add the the card front.
I hope you enjoyed my project today, I'm really please with how it turned out, huge thank you to Janice for pushing my Grey Matter to the limits
