Good Morning Everyone
Happy Monday, I hope you all had a fabulous weekend.
Today I have my entry for this week's Brand New Creative Colour Challenges #CCC36. The colours are really quite nice and soft I thought, so I grabbed my Blends and created a sweet birthday card using the Happiness Abounds stamp set - which is just perfect for colouring.

---------------------------
Take the Mossy Meadow Card Stock and fold along the score line to create your card base - adding the larger piece of Basic White to the inside.
On the remaining piece of Basic White, stamp the large outline flower in Memento ink all over. Once completely dry, colour in using your Petal Pink Stampin Blends. Layer this to the Balmy Blue Card Stock and add to the card front.
Stamp the sentiment onto a strip of Basic White towards the left in Mossy Meadow ink. Add this to the Balmy Blue strip towards to top, the add a thinner strip below - making sure that all your borders look straight and even. the width of these don;t really matter - I didn't measure these I just cut to a length of 5 5/8" and made them fit, so it's not an exact science for this! haha. Add this to the card front.
Ink up the larger flower in memento ink again, but this time stamp it onto a scrap of Petal Pink card stock - let it dry and colour it with the Petal Pink Stampin Blends. This gives it a very subtle colour difference. Cut this out either with the coordinating die, or it;s a pretty easy shape to fussy cut. Add this to the right of the sentiment.
Finally add a few Pearls to the card, giving it a little extra interest.
