Woven Threads A little something gift box. Day 16 of #31dayscraftchallenge

Good morning everyone,

Hope you are all well,  it's pretty wet and windy day here in Huddersfield - but thst doesn't matter as we have fun plans today. Me and Imogen are having lunch with a friend of ours.  I met this lovely lady through Stampin Up and now she's a great friend too... it really is true that Stampin Up is a community not just a place to buy supplies.

Anyways, I must get on!! Hahaha. Today I have this lovely gift box for you. The final dimensions are 3 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4", so there's loads of room for goodies inside!!

Measurements

TerraCotta Tile Cardstock
1pc - 8 3/4" x 7"

Woven Threads DSP
2pc- 1 5/8" x 1 5/8"
3pc - 1 5/8" x 3 3/8"

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - scrap for sentiment

Place you Terracotta Tile Cardstock in the Simply scored and score as follows:-
Long side - 1 3/4", 3 1/2", 5 1/4" &7"
Short side- 1 3/4" & 5 1/4"

Fold and burnish all the score lines using a bone folder and then carefully cut away so you are left with a shape like this...

Next add the DSP panels. Now, if you cut a piece for the length of 3 3/8" first, then cut down to 1 5/8", you will be able to get the pattern to follow on and look continuous on the larger panels. Once all the panels are all adhered towards the roght hand side, add a small thumb notch to the large decorated panel on the right hand side. See below...

Add tear and tape to all the panels labelled A and B above. The B panels  fold in to cretae the base and the A panels fold to become the lid.

Next cut the second largest stitched shapes Oval dies  in whisper white and stamp the sentiment in Terracotta Tile ink. Add a couple of dots and colour the edge of the oval uo to the stitch line with the Seaside Spray Stampin Write marker. Then colour a strip of 3/8" silver edge ribbon with the terracotta tile Stampin Write marker and snail to the top of the box, add the oval above this ribbon strip with dimensionals.

  3. Great ideas, My most favorite boxes are postage boxes because these boxes are used for product shipping, these are very helpful to protect your products from damage.
