Welcome to a special project today!! I am taking part in Team Scrimpy's New Catalogue & Sale A Bration freebies Blog Hop. I'll show you my project first, then please follow the links below to head on over to my team mates projects!!
I have decided to use the Best Dressed DSP (my fave so far) to decorate a large post it note pad. This is a great idea to gift a little but with huge impact.
Measurements
*please bear in mind that these measurements are for my exact post it block, double check your size of pad first befor you start as you may need to tweak slightly).
Pretty Peacock Cardstock
1pc - 7 1/2" x 5 1/4"
Best Dressed DSP
1pc - 2 1/2" x 5 1/8"
1pc - 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - scrap for sentiment
Take you piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock and on the longside score at 2 5/8", 3", 6" &6 3/8". Round the all four corners then burnish the score lines well. Also round the corners on the DSP, but only on one side of each piece. Then adhere to the card like this....
Flip the card stock over and add the post it note pad to the inside panel as below, make sure the open edge is towards the thin strip...
Fold over the smaller panel first and add Velcro, close the larger top piece down to adhere the velcro well.
Colour in a length of 3/8" silver edge ribbon with the Pretty peacock stampin write marker. And lwt it dry. Once dry wrap it round the upper flap and tie in a square knot and trim the tails.
On a scrap of whisper white, stamp the hello in pretty peacock and round the lower right hand corner. Run the side of your Stampin write marker around the edges then add to the front.
Here's a list of all the supplies I used in today's project, click on the images to head over to my online store. Don't forget you can start earning Sale A Bration freebies when you place an order of £45 or more....
