Verdant Garden Let's Celebrate You Birthday Card. Day 15 of #31dayscraftchallenge

Good Morning,

I hope you are doing well today, Imogen is heading out with Grandma for a few hours over lunch, so I will quickly whizz round with the vac and then I'm destined for the craft room!

Today I have a card I created for a male friend of ours. I always struggle with masculine cards, but I'm so chuffed how it turned out.

Measurements

Basic black cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
1pc - 2 1/2" x 1 5/8"

Whisper White Cardstock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 2 3/8" x 1 1/2"

First, create a card base by folding the large basic black cardstock along the score line and burnish. Add one of the larger panels of whisper white to the inside of the card.

Take the other larger piece of whisper white and create the background. Using these two stamps, you can create a great image. Take the pacific point ink and one of the images and stampfirst, then ink up the other stamp in coastal cabana ink and infill the blank spaces. As this is a Photopolymer Stamp Set you should find it quite easy to line up as you can see right through them. Cover the whole piece of whisper white with this pattern. Add this panel to the card front.

On the remaining piece of whisper white stamp the sentiments from itty bitty birthday stamp set one toward the top and one towards the bottom, then add the three small icons in coastal cabana ink and add wink of stella.  Layer this to the piece of basic black.

Put snail over the back of this panel and then loop round lots and lots of silver metallic thread and secure into the snail, making sure you geta variety of sized loops. Pop dimensionals on the back put onto the card front.

Here's a list of all the supplies I used in today's card, click on the images to head over to my online store. Don't forget you can earn Sale A Bration freebies when you place a qualifying order.
