Today I have this cute thin skinny gift box. I created this to hold a bracelet I have bought a friend, wrapped simply in tissue and placed in the box, it was a perfect fit. The finished size is 6" x 3/4" x 1 1/2" so it can fit a variety of items.
Take a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock that measures 7 1/2" x 6" and score on the long side at 3/4" & 6 3/4" then on the short side at 3/4", 2 1/4", 3" & 4 1/2". Fold and burnish the score lines well and then using your snips, cut away until you have a shape like below:-
Cut some panels of DSP from the Nature's Poem DSP. You will need 1 piece that measures 5 7/8" x 1 3/8" and two pieces that measure 5 7/8" x 5/8". Add the these to the box. Place the remaining thin strip to the thin panel along the bottom with the to tabs either side ( I'm not sure why I took the photo before adhering that strip:-
Using your 3/4" circle punch create a small thumb notch in the lowest panel. Add adhesive to the tabs you have and fold all this in towards to large panel which has no DSP on to create the base.
Create a small oval using the stitched shapes framelits and stamp you sentiment on it. Tue a bow using very vanilla bakers twin and create a small flower in BlackBerry bliss using the blossom builder punch. Arrange these on the lid of your box to create some interest.
