Beautiful Promenade 3 Projects 1 Stamp Set - Share it on a Sunday #17

Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Sunday, It's glorious here today so I'm hoping to spend the majority of the day in the Garden soaking up the rays. What are you all up to?

As it's Sunday, we have our Share it on a Sunday Series for you. This Week Donna chose the theme. One Stamp Set - 3 Projects. So that's  9 projects for you today!!!

Now I'm not going to lie, I've not long since finished making this.. oopps! I really did leave this one to the last minute, but I'm really happy with how it has turned out. As an extra little challenge to myself, I wanted to use a limited colour palette too!! What do you think??

So, as usual I will run through the tutorial for all three of the Projects, then link to Donna and Karen's blogs for today, so you can see what they have created.

I Love You Gift Box
This cute gift box measures 2 1/4" x 3" x 1" so it's a great size to put in all sorts of goodies.

Measurements
Gray Granite Cardstock
1pc - 5" x 7 1/2"
Scrap for flower

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 2 1/8" x 2 7/8"
2pc - 2 1/8" x 7/8"
2pc - 2 7/8" x 7/8"

Take the gray granite cardstock and score as follows:-
Long Side - 1", 3 1/4", 4 1/4" & 6 1/2"
Short Side - 1" & 4"

Holding the cardstock horizontially, cut up all the score lines to the first horizontal and notch into the squares. do this top and bottom so you create 6 tabs. like this...

On the thin strips of Whisper white stamp the floral image in lovely lipstick to cover it all. then, taking the remaining piece of whisper white, stamp the same image all around the edge in lovely lipstick ink, but this time stamp of twice first so you get a really light version of the ink. Add the I Love You in Basic Gray ink to run in a line across the top and bottom of the panel.

Add these pieces to the Gray Granite Cardstock like so..

Pop adhesive on top all the tabs you created then following the image above , start to build the box. the tabs marked B, fold in to create the base and tabs A fold in to create a lid.

Stamp the large outline flower in Basic Gray ink onto Gray Granite cardstock and fussy cut. Add this to the top of the box with dimensionals.

Fold the lovely lipstick cardstock along the score line and add the largest panel of whisper white to the inside. Take the Gray Granite cardstock and score at 1/2" and 1" on all four sides. This adds a nice decorative detail.

On the remaining piece of whisper white. Stamp the outline of the large flower in lovely lipstick in the bottom lwft habd corner. Add wink of stella around the stemens. Mosaic Mood Flower Pot Card.

Good Morning Everyone,

It's Friday - Hope you all have some fab plans for the weekend - socially distanced of course.

Today I have this fabulous Flower Pot card to share with you. It's so easy to make and is such a beautiful and different kind of card to give. I used a tutorial from #scrimpingmommy for the measurements.

Measurements

Cajun Craze Cardstock
1pc - 9" x 3 1/2"
1pc - 2 7/8" x 4 7/8"

Very Vanilla Cardstock
1pc - 2 3/4" x 4 3/4"

Mosaic Mood Speciality DSP
fussy cut leaves and flowers.
Scrap of green pattern to punch out leaves.

Take the larger piece of Cajun Craze and score on the long side at 2" and 5 1/5". Fold from the small score line forward and the larger score backwards so you get a shape like this...

Flip to card over, and on the back square mark in 1/4" from either side at the bottom, then draw a diagonal line from this mark to the top corner, like this...

Then cut away those thin triangles on both of the square, do not cut the small flap.

Now pay attention to the flap, I cut the bottom of the flap using scalloped pinking shears, but you could use a fancy punch if you have one.

Take a strip of the mosaic mood DSP and add to the bottom section of the flower pot.

Stamp a sentiment to the lower part of the very vanilla cardstock, so that when it is in the flower pot it is hidden. round the corners of this piece with the detailed Trio Punch, and do the same on the remaining Cajun Craze Cardstock - layer together and place inside the flower pot. Close up the flower pot and tie some twine around the lip of the flower pot to secure a closure.

now take the fussy cut and punched our elements and arrange on the top of the card pull out.

Here's a list of all the supplies I used in today's card - Click on the images to head over to my online store. Don't forget there's only a few more days to get your hand on the amazing paper before it retires.

Piece of Cake Happy Birthday Card using the Emboss Resist Technique

Good Evening Everybody,

I hope you are well. We are having some fantastic weather currently here in Yorkshire, so I hope you are as well.

Today's card was made for a challenge in Crafty Stampin Club a fab Group on Facebook, which is run by a good friend of mine, Tricia. She runs challenges regularly and when Inky Background came up last week I knew I had to join in. I absolutely love messy crafting and chose the emboss resist technique- one of my all time faves!!

I used the Piece of Cake stamp set whoch sadly retires in just a few days (2nd June).

Measurements

Basic black cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4, scored at 5 7/8"
1pc - scrap for the circle

Whisper White Cardstock
2pc - 5 3/8 x 3 5/8"
Scrap

Create your card base by folding the basic black cardstock along the score line and add a piece of whisper white to the inside.

Rub over the remaining piece of whisper white with your embossing buddy, then ink up the cake stamp in versamark ink and stamp all over the cardstock. Sprinkle over clear embossing powder, gently tap off the excess and set it using your heat tool. The heat will melt the powder and make smooth embossed outlines.

Once cooled, take a sponge and with poppy parade ink, cover  approx third of the way up the cardstock from the bottom. Repeat with Lovely Lipstick for the next third, and real red for the top third. Make sure you go in small circular motions to avoid harsh lines, and try hard to blend the colours well where they join so you don't get a line across where the colours meet.

Wipe over with a clean cloth or paper towel. This will remove the ink from the embossed areas and leave an amazing finish.

I cut out one of the cakes from the centre of this panel with a craft knife. I did this so that the cake would ahve the same shading as it should have in its position. But you could always do a seperate one on a piece of scrap.

Add this panel to the card front, then place a 1 3/4" circle of black cardstock over the hole.

Stamp the candles, colour and fussy cut. Stick the cake and candles onto the balck circle.

Here's a list of the supplies I used in today's card, click on the images to head over to my online store for more information or to place an order for those retiring products before they are gone for good.
