Good Morning Everyone
Happy Friday! I hope you have had a wonderful week and are ready for the weekend.
I'm sharing an Angled Tri-Fold card today for Fun Fold Friday and it was the perfect opportunity to showcase one of the designs from the FREE Rings of Love DSP, which is a Sale-a-Bration reward. contact me for more information about SAB or click over to the right!
This fold looks like it should be complicated to do, but in fact its super simple. You do need to do some accurate measuring and cutting, but it's worth it.

--------------------------------
Take the Poppy Parade card stock and score at 3 5/8" from either side. this just helps make the 'counting' easier and the 'doors' even.
Lay the card stock in front of you and with a ruler and pencil mark on the left hand edge at 1" down from the top. Draw a line, joining the dot with the top of the card at the first score line. Then along the bottom, mark 1" in from the left edge. Draw a line from this dot, to the first dot you marked. Repeat this process for the right hand side and you should have something that looks like this
Line up your pencil lines on the trimmer track and cut, making sure you cut as accurately as possible. If you do leave pencil marks on the card, you can easily rub them out.
You should end up with a piece of card that now is this shape.
Fold and burnish both score lines, bringing each side into the centre.
Take the DSP and repeat the process above for marking and cutting to create your mat layers. Be mindful of how your pattern flows, and also which corners you will be cutting to ensure that the pattern stays the right way up. These two pieces should now fit nicely onto the 'doors' with an even border all the way around. Once these have been glued down, open up the card and add the basic white piece to the centre panel.
On the strip of Soft Suede card stock, stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment in craft ink, once dry fold this around the card to create your belly band closure. Glue down where the two pieces overlap and trim down.
Take the fussy cut wood slice image and add to the belly band, making sure you only have glue on what will sit on the belly band, and that you cover the join.
Stamp the sentiment again onto soft suede card but this time in Early Espresso ink. Cut out using the smooth oval from the Double Oval punch. Add this along with the fussy cut elements to the wood piece with a mix of dimensionals and liquid glue to give a little depth.
I hope you enjoyed today's card, please take a look and see what Karen has made for today
