Good Evening Everyone
This evening I'm blog hopping with the fabulous Stamping with Friends ladies and we are all making Strip Cards.
These can be very simple, but I feel I kinda went OTT with my card, but I think it was totally worth it!
I opted for lovely rich colours and some bold white heat embossing, what do you think?

Daffodil Delight Card Stock

Mango Melody Card Stock

-------------------------------------
Take the larger piece of Cajun Craze Card Stock and fold along the score line. Add the larger piece of Basic White to the inside.
Now, glue down the three strips of card stock onto the 4" x 5 3/4" towards the left. On the right side add the 2" wide piece of Cajun Craze. Trim off all the edges to make them all flush with the card stock below. Also, be sure to butt the pieces up as close as you can so you have no gaps.
Once this piece is completely dry, stamp the Medallion image in Versamark ink and heat set with White embossing powder. Once that has cooled, take the corner of your versamark ink pad a even so lightly, tap the edge to the Cajun Craze section on the card. Sprinkle with white emboss powder and tap off as much as you can - you want this to be soft brush stokes like, not huge solid blocks. Heat set these areas.
I found that I didn't like how stark the white looked, so I very very lightly added some Cajun Craze ink over that left hand section, using a dry paper towel to wipe away the excess ink. I found this just softened the embossing ever so slightly.
Add this panel to your card front.
On a scrap of Basic White stamp the sentiment - I used two sentiments from Pansy Patch and joined them together. Trim down, layer onto Cajun Craze card stock and add to the card front with dimensionals.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today. Please take a look at the list below and continue through the hop - There will be absolutely tonnes of Inspiration for you.
