Good Morning Everyone
Happy Friday Folks. Hope you have all had a great week and have some exciting plans for the weekend. We haven't much in the Diary - Hopefully we can get out for a nice walk and enjoy some more time in the Garden as the weather is supposed to be nice again.
As it's Friday, It's time for our Fun Fold Friday Series. This week I have a centre Flip Card to share. It's super simple to create, and mine has been simply decorated to show off the beautiful Bouquet of Thanks Stamp. This stamp is a single Large stamp which can be found in the Background Stamps Section of the Catalogue - and somewhat overlooked by myself at first.
Measurements
Sahara Sand Card Stock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 5 3/4"
1pc - 8 1/4" x 3", scored at 4 1/8"
Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 3 7/8" x 2 3/4"
1pc - scrap
Subtles DSP Stack
Mint Macaron
1pc - 3 7/8" x 2 3/4"
2pc - 3 7/8" x 1 1/4"
-----------------------------------------
First start by inking up the large image with Memento Black ink onto some scrap Basic White. As this stamp is large and very detailed I used my Stamparatus to stamp it. This enabled me to go over the design with more ink to cover those places i originally missed or only gave light coverage to. Pop to one side to dry completely.
Whilst that is drying - Take the 8 1/4" x 3" piece of Sahara Sand and fold along the score line. Hold like a tent fold card with the fold at the top, adding the basic white piece to the inside and the larger piece of DSP to the card front.
Now, take your larger piece of Sahara Sand card stock and add a 1 1/4" DSP strip to either side, making sure you have a nice even border on those three sides.
Add you "mini card" to the centre of the larger piece, adhering it down centrally with the fold at the top.
Bring back your stamped image and colour it in using a selection of Stampin Blends - I used Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo and Mint Macaron for a subtle effect. Fussy cut and add to the centre panel of the card.
I hope you enjoyed today's card and will have a go at one yourself - Please take a look at the link below to see what Fun Fold Karen has made today...
