Lovely & Lasting Let's Celebrate Greeting Card. Creative Colour Challenges #CCC44

 Good Morning Everyone

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend - we have been doing the odd jobs around the house in and among occupying two small kiddies with walks to the Park, Ice Creams and a Climbing Wall! So it's been a nice mix, plus I was lucky enough to get some solid hours in the craft room to get my crafting itch under control! haha

So, as you all may have guessed by now - Monday is the day that a brand new colour combination is released over on Creative Colour Challenges, so it's the day I share my sample for it with you.

I absolutely love this weeks combo and I cannot wait to see what everyone else creates this week. I had so much fun with this card - there's a mix of a few stamp sets, some gold embossing all tied together using this amazing combo!!

Measurements

Basic Gray Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Pool Party Card Stock

1pc - 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"

1pc - scrap

Sweet Sorbet Card Stock

1pc - 3" x 4 1/4"

1pc - scrap

----------------------------------

Take the Basic Gray Card Stock and fold along the score line to create your card base.

Ink up the small tile stamp from Lovely & Lasting in Basic Gray ink and add two rows in opposite corners of the card front. Then with two of the images from Graceful Tiles fill in to centre section with some more detail.

Now, take the small tile stamp again, but this time ink up in Sweet Sorbet ink and cover the piece of Sweet Sorbet card stock. Ink the edges slightly.

Once this piece is completely dry, stamp the large flower image in Versmark in the centre. Sprinkle with Gold embossing powder and heat set. Once cooled. Layer to the Pool Party Card stock and add to the card front, slightly towards the top - so you have room for the sentiment below.

For the sentiment - stamp the wording from Simply Fabulous in Versamark ink and repeat the heat embossing process again with the Gold powder. Trim and layer to a mat of Pool Party. Place this on the card front under the image.

I hope you like today's card. If you would like more details on how the Challenge works, or would like to enter a project yourself - please do head over to my blog Creative Colour Challenges.
