Hand Penned Rings of Love Feel Better Gift Bag for a Friend. 3D Thursday

 Good Morning Everyone

Happy Thursday, I hope you are all having a fabulous week so far.

We have another 3D Thursday Share for you today and I wanted to created a little gift bag to gift some chocolates for a friend who was feeling a little under the weather, just to make her smile!

I've teamed up the FREE Saleabration Rings of Love DSP with the Hand Penned Stamp Set. I Tried to pick out the colours from the DSP and if you look closely at the flowers in the paper, I thought I'd get away with using this image with the same colours - and I think it works

Measurements

Rings of Love DSP

1pc - 12" x 7 1/2"

Poppy Parade Card Stock

1pc - 3" x 3 5/8"

1pc - 1" x 11 3/4"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 2 7/8" x 3 1/2"

---------------------------------

Take the DSP and score as follows-

Long Side

Full Scores - 1", 5", 6 1/2" & 10 1/2"

Part Scores - 5 3/4" & 11 1/2" to approx 4"

Short Side - 6"

Fold and burnish all the full score lines well (don't worry about the part score lines for now).

Cut up the score lines along the bottom and notch into the squares to create tabs. then remove the thin rectangle int he lower left. notch into the top of the ling skinny rectangle that is above.

Add adhesive to the long rectangular tab and fold round to seal the sides. Fold in the two tabs, back and front - adhering each layer down.

Gently pinch in the top of the bag - the part score lines will help the bag sides come in smoothly.

Wrap the 1" length of Poppy Parade around the top of the bag and glue down to create a belly band. Trim off any excess - making sure the the join is towards the centre so that it's easy to cover up.

On your piece of Basic White stamp the outline image in memento ink and fill in the petals using Crushed Curry ink and the leaves with Evening Evergreen ink. Add colour to the centres using a Poppy Parade Blend. Add the Sentiment in memento down in the bottom right.

Layer this to the Poppy Parade mat. This will be glued directly to the belly band with the top edge lining up with the top of the belly band, so when adding adhesive to the top of the panel, make sure you do not add too much - otherwise it will end up sticky to the bag.

I hope you enjoyed today's project, please take a look at the links below and see what 3D projects Donna & Karen have both made today
