Sun Prints Botanical Layers Thinking of You Greeting Card. Stamping INKSpirations Monochrome Colour Challenge Blog Hop. June 2022

 Good Evening Everyone

I hope you have all had a fabulous Saturday?

I am blog hopping this evening with the Fabulous Stamping Inkspirations ladies and we are all crating projects in 'Shades of Blue'. We have a great selection of Blue tones, so I was excited to take this on!

I decided to use the Sun Prints DSP and the Botanical Layers Stamp Set and coordinating Vellum for my project. I love how this came together.

Lovely Layers Vellum

1pc - 3 3/4" x 5"

--------------------------------------

Create your card base by folding the Pacific Point card stock along the score line. Add the Basic White piece to the inside.

Take the piece of DSP and stamp the leaf image in Night of Navy ink all over.

Cut the Vellum in half so you have two pieces that measure 2.3" x 3 3/4. Hold one piece over the top left side at n angle and fold it over so that you get a nice crisp fold over the DSP. Do it on both sides making sure it is snug. Take it away from the DSP and it should look like this..

Trim down the back edges to create two tabs

Pop it back over the DSP and secure on the back with a bit of tape

Repeat the above process with the opposite corner.

Add this full panel to the card front.

Also, using the beautiful Shapes Dies, cut out the largest and third largest hexagon in Tahitian Tide and the Second Largest in Starry Sky card stock.

Stamp the sentiment into the smaller hexagon and once the ink is fully dry, add some leaves to the blank space around the edges using Versamark ink - heat set with white embossing powder and your heat tool.

Layer all three hexagons together, hover this over the centre of the card ( do not stick yet) to get an idea of where it will eventually sit

On scraps of balmy blue, stamp the leaf image with in night of navy ink and fussy cut. Add these to the card front so that the stems will be covered by the hexagon. Once these are glued down, Pop the hexagon on top with dimensionals
