Hues of Happiness Gift Box that holds two Ritter Sport Bars for a Friend. Stampin Birds 3D Thursday

 Good Morning Everyone

I can't quite believe it's Thursday already - this week is flying by! We have had a glorious week here in Huddersfield so far but today we are heading over to Bolton Abbey for a day of woodland walks, visiting the Abbey and of course, some play time down by the river.

As it's Thursday, we have our 3D Thursday Share and I'm really chuffed with the box I created today.

My Friend absolutely loves Chocolate, and her fave is any chocolate with nuts in, so when I can across these I knew I needed to get them and make something pretty to gift them in. These bars are 100g size, which I don't seem to see much around here - mainly just the mini's for some reason!!

This box measure 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" x 1 1/2", so you could use this to gift all sorts of goodies.

Measurements

Sweet Sorbet Card Stock

1pc - 12" x 6 3/4"

1pc - scrap

Hues of Happiness DSP

1pc - 3 5/8" x 3 5/8"

4pc - 1 3/8" x 3 5/8"

----------------------------------

Take the Sweet Sorbet Card Stock and score as follows:-

Long Side - 1 1/2", 5 1/4", 6 3/4" & 10 1/2"

Short Side - 1 1/2" & 5 1/4"

Fold and burnish all the score lines and the holding the card horizontally and make all the square sections into tabs. Cut up straight against the rectangles edge, then notch into the square slightly. You will be left with a piece of Cardstock like this.

Then add the DSP to what will become the lid. So chose your side then add the larger pieces of DSP to the centre square and place the thinner DSP strips around it.

Pop Tear and tape onto all of the square tabs, then fold in the 4 tabs around the blank square to create the base, then the 2 which are surrounded by DSP in to create the lid.

On a scrap of Basic White card stock stamp the sentiment from Happiness Abounds in Sweet Sorbet ink and then cut out using the smooth oval from the Double Oval Punch. Also cut of a scallop oval in Sweet Sorbet / Layer these two together and add to the top of box.

I hope you have enjoyed my project, Please do pop on over to see what Karen has made - Donna is taking a week off this week, but will be back with us on the Next One.
