Good Evening Everyone
I hope you have all had a wonderful Saturday. We haven't done much really, just a few bits and bobs around the house. It was kind of a Get Stuff Done Day, and I'm happy to report there's a lot of ticks on the list, so I'm going to reward myself with a G&T.
It's the Stamping with Friends blog hop today and our theme is Masculine. I often struggle with this theme - I know I'm not alone! I was looking through my products and knew right away the New Horizons DSP would be perfect, along with a sweet Dragonfly and it just came together from there.

----------------------------
Take the Old Olive Card Stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Then add the Basic white piece of card to the inside.
Ink up the sentiment from Pansy Patch and stamp in the top right hand corner, close ish to the edge. like this
Then very gently tear away the sentiment from that piece so you are left with this.
On another piece of scrap paper (making sure that it is wide enough to fit the sentiment and then a little more) Pop the sentiment into the top right hand corner.
Take this piece and adhere it under the ripped piece, so that it 'fills' the missing area. Take your time and make sure it all lines up so that it will be all straight.
On another scrap of DSP stamp the Happy Birthday and trim down, adhering to the card front over to the left.
Stamp the Dragonfly onto a light coloured pattern and then cut our with the dragon flies punch, also cutting out two of the smaller ones.
Add the Larger Dragonfly on dimensionals near the sentiment and place the other two smaller ones around it with liquid glue.
Thanks to such a beautiful and detailed DSP my actual effort is quite minimal, but I've still managed to produce a really nice card. It lends itself to the masculine theme, but it could work for anyone really!
