Lovely & Lasting Hello You Mini Gift Bags. Share it on a Sunday

 Good Morning Everyone

Happy Sunday, I hope you are all having a wonderful Weekend. It's come over all miserable here in West Yorkshire, so it's a day of inside play I think. Might get out the Baking Tins and do a little cooking with the Girls this aft.

As it's Sunday, we have a fabulous Share it on a Sunday for you. Donna, Karen and Myself are all sharing some 3D projects.

I'm making some really cute mini gift bags, which I saw a while back that were made by The Paper Pixie.  I loved the fact these used a label punch to create the closure. So I have mixed it up a bit and used products from Lovely in Linen Suite from the New Annual Catalogue.

Here's a picture of the original project from The Paper Pixie, using the Elegantly Said bundle and the 2021-2023 In Colour - all of which have sadly retired. The colours are still available, just not this particular design.

Measurements (per bag)

Lovely in Linen DSP

1pc - 4" x 6"

Thick Basic White Card Stock

1pc - scrap

-----------------------

Take the DSP and pop into your Simply Scored and score as Follows:-

Long Side - 1 3/4", 2 3/4", 4 1/5" & 5 1/2"

Short Side - 3"

Be mindful how your pattern runs, if you are using a design that has a "right" way up, make sure when you score on the short side, the pattern is facing left. The score line at 3" creates the base of the bag.

Fold and burnish all the score lines. Using your snips, cut up all the vertical score lines along the bottom notching slightly into the squares and removing the very thin rectangle on the lower right. SO you are left with a piece of DSP that looks like this.

Add liquid glue to the thin tab on the right and fold round and adhere to the opposite side. Fold in the sides, back and front panel, gluing as you go to create the base. Once the glue has dried, gently pinch in the top of the bag, smoothing the sides.

On a scrap of Basic White, stamp the outline label image in Sweet Sorbet ink, then add the small flower detail to one side, stamping the sentiment from Shaded Summer to the opposite side, close to the outline. Once the ink is fully dry, pop this label into your simply scored and score at 1 1/8", make sure that the label is lined up properly and evenly. If you are using a different punch you will need to work out the halfway point to score.

Fold and burnish well.

Add liquid glue to the half which has the flower stamped on it and adhere this to the back of the bag, lining up the score line with the top edge of the DSP

Add some velcro dots to the front sections and close the bag over.

It's a super simple bag and looks great with this DSP.

I hope you enjoyed my project and will check out The Paper Pixie too. But first please pop along and see what Donna & Karen have both made today.
