Painted Christmas Sweet Treat Mini Preserve Gift Box. Stamping with Friends Blog Hop. November 2021

Good Evening Everyone,

Today I have a fun project to share with you, it's for the Stamping with Friends Christmas Blog Hop and our theme is 3D Christmas Gift Idea.

I picked up so,e of these cute mini individual portion preserve jars from the local supermarket and decided to gift two of them in a cute little gift box. They are quite inexpensive and when wrapped in this cute decoration - make a lovely gift.

Measurements

Evening Evergreen Card Stock
1pc - 8 3/4" x 7"

Painted Christmas DSP
2pc - 1 5/8" x 1 5/8"
3pc - 1 5/8" x 3 3/8"

Basic White Card Stock
2pc - scraps
---------------------------------

Place the Very Vanilla Cardstock into the simply scored, with the long side running across to top. Score at  1 3/4", 3 1/2", 5 1/4" & 7", then rotate the card 90 degrees and score along the short side at 1 3/4" & 5 1/4". Cut away at the card until you get a shape like this

Add the DSP panels as below...

Next you need to add a small thumb notch to the front piece so that it is easier to open. As Stampin Up don't have any circle punches - I stole this idea from Gez at Nigezza Creates who used the head of the Snowman from the Snowman Builder Punch - GENIUS

Add tear and tape to all your tapes and then follow the arrows below to fold up the card stock into your box

Stamp the sentiments onto scraps of basic white card stock, trim the Bring on Christmas into a thin rectangle and cut out the other with the smooth oval from the Double Oval Punch. Ink the edges of the sentiments. I ran the edges, hold my cardstock vertical, along the ink pad to get a really thin but dense coverage.

Add these to the lid of the box with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed today's project. Please click the button below to continue through the hop. Tina is up next and it's sure to be an awesome project...
