Good Morning Everyone,
Hope you are all well. We have another share it on a Sunday for you today and our theme this week is Scoring. Scoring is a must for making 3D projects, but I've decided to use it to create an interesting background for my card.
Measurements
Basic Black Card Stock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored 5 7/8"
Basic White Card Stock
2pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
Scraps
------------------------
Take your basic black card stock and Fold along the score line. Add one of the basic white pieces to the inside.
On the remaining piece of card stock, add score lines along the long side and short side. You can do any measurements you like, just start scoring and make a pattern as such. Here's where I scored if you wanted to do as I did...
Long side - 1/2", 1", 1 1/8", 1/4", 1 3/4", 1 3/4", 4 1/8", 4 1/4", 4 3/8", 4 1/2", 4 5/8", 5 1/8"
Short side - 3/8", 1/4", 1", 1 1/8", 1 1/4", 1 3/8", 2", 2 1/8", 2 5/8", 2 3/4", 2 7/8", 3", 3 3/8", 3 1/2"
Add this panel to the the card front.
On scraps of basic white stamp the thank you from Ornate Thanks in memento. Trim these to be two words, then layer onto some basic black and add to the top of your card.
On some more scrap, stamp the large flower twice opposite each other so that you create a full round flower shape. The centre bits wont line up, so focus on getting the petals as even as you can. stamp the smaller circle image in both Gorgeous Grape and Bumblebee ink. Trim the Bumblebee circle down so it's just the centre image and then layer all these three together and add to your card, below the sentiments. Pop a Rhinestone into the centre of the flower. Finally stamp a few leaves in granny apple green and then add under the flower.
I hope you enjoyed today's card, please pop over and see what Donna & Karen have both done for this challenge.
