Heartwarming Hugs Season's Greetings Gift Box. Crafty Collaborations Packaging Hop. November 2021

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in the Crafty Collaborations Packaging Blog Hop.

I've decided to make this cute lidded gift box which measures 4" x 3" x 2" which is perfect to hold all sorts of treats.

Measurements

Pear Pizzazz Card Stock

1pc - 8" x 6"

1pc - scrap

Heartwarming Hugs DSP

1pc - 6" x 4"

Basic White Card Stock

Scraps

Take your Pear Pizzazz card stock and score at 2" on all four sides. Fold and burnish the score lines - then notch into all the squares in the corners to create tabs, like this....

Now take the DSP and score at 1" on all four sides, bringing the DSP away form the edge of your simply scored just a smidgen, a little bit so that it makes the lid fit better.

Add tear and tape to the tabs of both the lid and base and make then both up by folding in the tabs.

Stamp the stocking in Pear Pizzazz ink and cut out with the coordinating die.

Ink up the sentiment in Real Red ink and stamp onto a scrap of Basic white and the cut out with the smooth oval of the Double Oval Punch, making sure that you have the sentiment towards the left. Cut a scalloped oval in pear pizzazz card stock and sponge the edges. Layer these two up and add this along with the stocking of the lid of the box.
