In the Wild Scrappy Strip Technique Thanks Card.

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today's card is a great quick and easy way to make some fabulous cards. I'm revisiting the Scrap Strip Technique which was brought about by Bruno Bertucci last year.  It's a great way to use up lots of scraps and create a really fun card in next to no time at all.

I have used the In the Wild DSP here - I think it works really well, but you could use absolutely anything you wanted.

Measurements

Basic Black Cardstock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

1pc - 4" x 5 3/4"

scraps

Basic White Cardstock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

scrap

In The Wild DSP

Lots of Strips of DSP - different designs and widths ( Between 3/4" and 1") and about 6" long

1pc - Fussy Cut Wild Cat

Take the strips of DSP and cut each one diagonally on the long side, but don't cut point to point come across the thin edge a little so that it  looks like the pointy end has been cut off.

Arrange the strips onto the snaller piece of cardstock making sure you line each strip up with the strip before leaving a thin increment between. Once full leave to dry then trim off all the overlapping pieces of DSP.

Create your card base by folding the remaining piece of basic black along the score line.  Add the basic white piece to the inside and the strip panel to the front.

Layer the fussy cut cat onto basic black and cut around leaving a small border.

Stamp the sentiment from Biggest wish in cajun craze and fussy cut, then layer onto basic black and fussy cut leaving a nice even border, just as you did with the big cat.

Add both of these pieces to the card front using dimensionals.
