Shaded Summer Happy Birthday Lidded Gift Box.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I've made this super cute gift box to hold a necklace I bought for a gift. It's a lovely bespoke gift that was handmade (not by me) and can wrapped in tissue paper, so I thought I'd created this box so it's a little special. It measures 4 1/2" x 3" x 2" so it's a good size for all sorts of goodies.

Measurements

Merry Merlot Card Stock

1pc - 7" x 8 1/2"

Gray Granite Card Stock

1pc - 6 1/2" x 5"

1pc - 1 1/8" x 2 1/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 1" x 2"

Take the Merry Merlot card stock and stamp the floral image from Shaded Summer in Merry Merlot ink all over. Once dry, score the card stock at 2" on all four sides. Then create tabs by cutting the squares - cut up straight to the side of the rectangles and then notch into the squares.

Repeat this process for the Gray Granite card stock, but score at 1" on all four sides, edging the card stock away from the edge a teeny bit, approx 1 1/16" - it just helps the lid fit better.

On your piece of Basic White, stamp the same floral image all over using merry merlot ink. Adhere to the centre of the Gray Granite card stock.

Stamp the sentiment onto the thin piece of basic white, layer on the remaining piece of Gray Granite and adhere in the centre of the stamped panel with dimensionals.

Going back to the Merry Merlot card stock pieces, add Seal+ to all the tabs and fold them up to create the base and repeat this process for the lid.

Here's a list of the supplies I used in today's card. Click on the images to head over to my online store. Product List
