Good Afternoon Everyone,
Thanks for joining me again today. This time I'm hopping with the Ink Stamp Share ladies and we are showcasing projects we are currently working on.
As you know, I like to pretty up notepads and post it note blocks to hand out for a variety of reasons, so I wanted to show you the post it notes. I noticed I was getting a little low so I ordered another pack of pads and went through my scraps of DSP and card stock to create these. I 'm showing the ones I made using the Pansy Petals DSP along with Soft Succulent, Fresh Freesia and Evening Evergreen card stock.
This is not a new idea and there are tonnes of tutorials out there for these, I've been making them for years and this is the way I do them.
Measurements
Now, I don't usually work in cm's but for this project I found I really needed to - the dimensions were just so blummin' awkward in inch's haha
Cardstock
1pc - 13cm x 6cm
DSP
1pc - 3cm x 5.5cm
-------------------
Take your card stock and score as follows:-
Long Side - 3.5cm, 4.5cm. 8.5cm & 9.5cm
Fold the score lines, then using the detailed trio punch round the corners of one of the short edges. like so...
Take the DSP and round what will be the same two corners - make sure if you are using directional paper you round the bottom two corners.
Adhere this to the panel of card stock with the rounded edges ....
Now flip the card stock over and glue in the mini post it note pad. make sure the open edge is facing away from the rounded corner edge.
Now you can close up the wrap several different way I decided to use some bakers twine and some velcro dots, but you could use some ribbon, create a belly band or use magnets.
