Elegantly Said Wonderful Birthday Card. InspireINK Colour Challenge Blog Hop. July 2021

Good Morning Everyone,

This Morning I'm hopping with the amazing InspireINK ladies and this month we have a fabulous Colour Challenge to follow.

I decided to use the Elegantly Said stamp set, because I haven't used it so much so far - so I brought it out in the hope I could muster up my mojo enough to work something out with these colours - I did, and I'm really chuffed with the results.

Measurements

Bumblebee Cardstock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Basic White Cardstock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

1pc - 2 1/4" x 3 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Misty Moonlight Cardstock

1pc - 2 3/8" x 4"

Take the Bumblebee card stock and fold it along the score line. Stamp the large corner flourish image all over the card front in Bumblebee ink.

Use the detailed trio punch and round two opposite corners of the card base. Take off the same corners of the larger piece of basic white and add this to the inside.

On the remaining piece of basic white stamp the flourish twice - to cover most of it - but this time in Soft Succulent, stamped off twice so the image is really pale. Round the same corners as the card base .

Stamp the sentiment at the top in Misty Moonlight ink and the full flower image in 'full strength' Soft Succulent ink towards the bottom. Stamp that same flower on a piece of scrap basic white cardstock in Bumblebee ink. Fussy cut out the two flower heads and then adhere this over the flowers from the soft succulent stamped area. Add a Rhinestone to the centre of each flower.

Layer this piece onto the Misty Moonlight mat, again rounding the correct corners and add to the centre of the card front.
