Hand Penned Happy Birthday Joy Fold Card. Ink Stamp Share May 2021 Showcase blog hop

  Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I have another project to share with you and I've created this lovely Joy Fold card decorated with the Hand Penned DSP for Ink Stamp Share Showcase Blog Hop.

I love a fancy fold, and this has to be one of the simplest of folds, but it looks fabulous!

Measurements

Misty Moonlight Card Stock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 8 7/8", scored at 3 7/8"

1pc - 7 1/2" x 3", score at 3 3/4"

Hand Penned DSP

2pc - 3 7/8" x 2 5/8"

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

1pc - 2 3/4" x 3 1/2"

1pc - 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 1 1/2" x 3 1/2"

1pc - 3 1/2" x 2 3/4"

Take the larger piece of Misty Moonlight Card Stock and fold along the score line. Add the larger piece of DSP to the inside of the card, then add the 2 5/8" pieces - on to the left of the larger piece of DSP and the other to the front of that piece as well.

On the remaining piece of basic white, stamp the sentiments from Pretty Perennials stamp set. layer this up onto the two remaining pieces of DSP, making sure the larger piece is a contrasting design.

Fold and burnish the remaining piece of  Misty Moonlight card stock and hold it so the fold is to the right hand side. Add the stamped sentiment panel that you just put together to the front, then add the plain whisper white piece to the inside, on the left.

Add this smaller card to the larger piece of decorated card stock. Only adhering the back piece to the DSP keeping the fold to the right. Fold in the small DSP flap, and have the sentiment flap sit over the top.

I hope you have enjoyed today's card and will have a go yourself - it definitely looks harder than it is. Now click the next button below to see what Annette has created...
