Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Sunday, I hope you are all having a good weekend so far. We have spent most of the weekend clearing and cleaning the hall, stairs and landings ready for the decorators to start work tomorrow. You really don't realise how big a job is until you have to start faffing with stuff do you?
So, today we have SPARKLE & SHINE as our theme this week for Share it on a Sunday, but I have managed to squeeze in some crafting and today my card fits the brief for TWO challenges. Within our team we run weekly challenges and this week we had to create a card inspired by a song - So I've done Fields of Gold. Hope fully you can see it!
Measurements
Just Jade Card Stock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"
Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 5 1/4" x 3 1/2"
Gold Foil Sheets
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
Take the Just Jade card stock and fold along the score line to create the card base. Add the larger piece of basic white to the inside and the gold foil sits on the card front.
On the remaining piece of basic white, stamp the strip of grasses from Field of Flowers in Just Jade ink along the bottom, I had to add a small line of just jade too as I didn't go all the way to the edge.
Add the sentiments in Magenta Madness and Just Jade.
Once this is dry, rub over with your anti-static tool, then add flowers to the grassed area with versamark ink and add some dragonflies above too. Sprinkle over gold embossing powder, tap off the excess powder then melt the powder using a heat tool.
Add this panel to the card front, then take some of the gold metallic pearls and add to the three dots after always and the centre of the larger flowers.
