Good Morning Everyone,
Today I have a lovely card to share, it's quite simple in design, I just wanted to show off this marvellous embossing folder. I've made this for a friend who isn't girlie girlie but still would appreciate something feminine.
Measurements
Soft Suede Card Stock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
1pc - 3 3/8" x 5 1/8"
1pc - 1" x 1 7/8"
Very Vanilla Card Stock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 3 1/2" x 5 1/4"
1pc - 7/8" x 1 3/4"
Take the larger piece of Soft Suede Card Stock and fold along the score line. sponge around the edges of the card front with the same ink. Sponge the edges of the largest piece of Very Vanilla with soft suede ink and add to the inside of the card.
Run the soft suede card Stock through the Cut & Emboss machine using the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder. Now, take your soft suede ink pad and very gently swipe it over the card. With a light touch, you should only get ink on the raised areas. If you look closely at mine I have got ink on the lower areas but it's not a problem. Continue building up the ink until you are happy with the coverage.
Layer this to the remaining piece of very vailla which has had the edges sponges in soft suede as well.
Add two lengths of the gorgeous grape sheer ribbon across the lower right hand corner, adhering to the back. Place this panel into the centre of the card front.
Stamp the sentiment from Pansy Patch in Gorgeous Grape onto the small piece of Very Vanilla. Sponge the edges and layer onto the last piece of soft suede. Add to the card over lapping the ribbon.
