Good Morning Everyone,
Today I am taking part in a Pootles Team Blog Hop. A whole bunch of the team are going to showcase some of the fantastic products available in our Brand New Annual Catalogue.
I chose to use the Flowers for Every Season DSP. It's absolutely stunning and shows off our brand new in colours.
If you are unsure on how a blog hop works, I'll run through the tutorial for my project and then link to the other lovely ladies and you essentially the just hop around following the next person in the until you have seen all the projects.
Measurements
Basic Gray Cardstock
1pc - 8 1/2" x 6 1/2"
Flowers for Every Season DSP
5pc - 1 7/8" x 1 7/8"
Take your card stock and score as follows
Long side - 2", 4", 6" and 8"
Short side - 2", 4" and 6"
Hold the cardstock horizontally, with a thin score line across the top, and to the left hand side. You need to start cutting away at the card,
- Down the left hand side, remove the top to thin rectangles, lea6be the third and remove the one at the bottom. Notch in slightly to remaining rectangle to create a tab.
- Along the top, keep the first rectangle and remove the rest. Notch in slightly to the rectangle.
- On the next row down, keep the first square as is, then cut down all the other square. Take a little bit off the top of the square on the right hand side and the notch in. Remove the next square completely and repeat what you did for the right hand square for the last square.
- Finally cut up all the score lines from the bottom to the first horizontal line.
You should end up with your cardstock looking like this.
Now add you DSP to the four full squares that run across the centre, and one to the full square on the next row up. If your paper is directional make sure you pop the one on upside down. Add a small thumb notch as below...
Add tear and tape to the tab on the left hand side and adhere to the opposite side. Fold in the sides and back then glue down the front piece to create your base
Tie a bow with the new ribbon and add to the top left hand corner with a glue dot, then pop a small in colour enamel dot in the opposite corner.
Here's the list of everyone who is taking part, please do pop along and see what all these talented crafters have made....
