Set Sail in the Direction of your Dreams greeting card

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are all well and have somw exciting plans for the weekend.

Today I have a card that pushed me out of my usual comfort zone. I'm not very good a pulling together masculine cards, but the come sail away suite really does help you out!!

Take a peice of mossy meadow cardstock that measures 11 3/4" x 4 1/8", scored at 5 7/8" to create the cadd vase. Add a piece of whisper white that measures 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" to the inside and a peice of night of navy to the front, this should measure 4 1/8" x 5 3/4". Then on top of this add a piece of come sail away DSP that measures 5 5/8" x 3 7/8".

Stamp one large boat and one small boat in soft suede ink.

Using your die cutting machine cut out the following :-
The large and small stamped boats
1 large vellum circle from stitched shape dies
1 small whisper white circle from stitched shape dies
1 ships wheel from soft suede card stock

Carefully cut the ships wheel into quarters and add to each corner on the card.

Cut the vellum circle in half and adhere to the centre of the card feont, be mindful where you pop your adhesive as it can show through vellum.

Stamp the sentiment into the centre of the whisper white circle and place over the vellum.

Colour in the boats and arrange on the card, covering any visible adhesive. Add a few lines of blue under the boats on the vellum to continue the sea a little more.

Add  some birds with night of navy in above the sentiment.

Here's a list of all the supplies I used in today's card, click on the images to head over to my online store...
